Staying at the AMANO was probably my favorite part of our brief trip. The hotel was beautiful and peaceful; even with families in both of the neighboring rooms, our room was still quiet and private. The only downside was the western breakfast option, which was not very good. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk from the door of our room and it was not very crowded. The price was a little expensive, but totally worth it for a treat or a splurge.

Great location and great rooms. A bit more privacy in the courtyard would be great, but all in all it was a fantastic stay. Really good service as well.

The beach is right outside the hotel, the location is first-class, the cross-sea bridge is right in front of you, and the light show at night is visible. The sanitary facilities and sound insulation in the room are good. Especially the little sister at the front desk is gentle and the service is timely and thoughtful. I will come again when I go on vacation in Dalian.
