本人有點小潔癖，一直以來帶孩子出行都是定五星級酒店並且專挑年份新一點點住，而且會看完大多少評價再定。我們的行程很臨時，2大2小，一時訂不到心儀的酒店，需要親子房要麼床大一點。其實是看了很多，又太愛乾淨，無奈選了這個民宿… 真的很久沒定民宿了…剛開始真的很忐忑…
從衞生角度講，真的很乾凈，非常之乾淨，也是我最滿意的一點。並且裝修以白色為主一點臟就會很明顯… 但這個民宿就連衞生間很多死角也非常乾淨… 無可挑剔
從地理位置而言，我做了攻略，其實剛開始有點後悔，漁人碼頭屬於不怎麼被推薦的景點，再加上不熟悉，我覺得很偏僻。但實際上入住下來，打的🚖非常方便，我們全場滴滴，很輕鬆打到滴。並且入住那一晚和最後一晚都步行品海樓吃了晚飯。如果對於想步行就到達漁人碼頭以外景點的住户不太方便，但大連大多數景點還是要打滴的，所以實際入住下來並不耽誤。
而且針對我們親子2大2小而言，2張床還是很大的，孩子和大人都睡的很舒服。民宿的早餐略簡單，但是也夠了，每天早上都有人在現包，就連餐廳都很乾凈，不得不再誇一下這個衞生！！
真的要説什麼不足，民宿房間的隔音相比五星級酒店是差一點的，除了第一晚對面入住的客户太吵沒睡好，後面幾天沒帶耳塞都睡的很好，而且民宿
前台的工作人員也在積極協調儘量讓我們休息好，但無奈房間比較滿。
至於旅拍我們沒有約，但是聽説拍的挺好的

The place is not too far from the Dong Hai station, the exit C has an elevator. The room has everything we need, included the washing machine. And it's big enough for 4 people. The staffs are very nice, they all have serviced mind. We stayed here for 5 nights and had very good sleep.

Beautiful view from the floor-length windows. We booked the bigger room for two travellers, which was lucky as the room with the windows was not warm as the other room. It was ok for us as we had a spare bed.
The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Plus points for the room having a washing machine.
While the room had a beautiful sea view, it was difficult to reach the building as there is no drop-off point and you have to walk up a narrow and slippery (during winter) slope to get to the building. For those with young children or elderly, you may want to make arrangements for your luggage.

Напротив отеля с двух сторон ведётся стройка небоскрёбов, поэтому мой номер с боковым видим на море в действительности был с видим на стройку. Строительные работы начинаются в 5-30 утра. Поэтому спать после этого времени вы не сможете. Окно открыто и сами вы его закрыть технически не сможете. Я останавливалась в отеле в сентябре 2024 года на одну ночь, чему очень рада. Думаю, после окончания строительства года через 1,5-2 пребывание в отеле будет более комфортным, т.к. через дорогу находится набереженая Венеции, а от станции метро Donggang -line 2 до отеля пешком 4 минуты. На метро можно быстро добраться до центра Qingniwaqiao- line 5 и до двух вокзалов.

I had a fantastic stay at Guoshi Hotel in Dalian. The location is superb, just a quick 5-minute drive from the conference center, making it incredibly convenient for business travelers. Additionally, the hotel is close to several popular tourist attractions, allowing for easy exploration of the city during downtime. The drop off street is narrow, but the driver can still drop you off at the entrance.
The staff was exceptional—always friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any requests. They allowed us to use the conference room and a late check out.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. I would have loved coffee in my room, but they have a coffee machine at the lobby. I recommend Guoshi Hotel for anyone visiting Dalian, whether for business or leisure. It's the perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and outstanding service!

1. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of action. There was a street food next door, with McD, Pizza Hut and KFC all within 05 mins of walking. There was a mall with a Walmart hypermarket at the underground level nearby. It is convenient for those who stayed more than a few nights and needed to provision for work in Dalian.
2. There is a university nearby, plus a hill overlooking the Dalian city which you can conveniently walk/jog up to in the morning/evening.
3, The room is sufficiently well spaced, the bed and pillows are comfy, the lights are decently illuminant, the shower water pressure strong and the temperature hot when you need it ; the room is well decorated, there is enough work space on the table, there is a fridge ; the basin, the toilet bowl, and the shower room are independent of each other. In other words, a well thought out room layout. The lighting control is well calibrated, the central air conditioning is quiet, there is a special pop-out plug points on the table for laptops and phone charging.
4. The breakfast is good, a bit of every kind, mainly Chinese dish but some Western oriented salad style vege/fruits for those who need it. Milk is available (not something to be taken for granted in China as milk is not commonly available)
5. There is a free laundry room for use, the detergent and softener are provided free-of-charge ; iron and iron board is available as well.
6. The hotel service is tightly run by its Manager who ensure the staff are always tending as soon as possible to the customers. A special thanks to reception staff 孙晓辉 for patiently helping out with China-specific app for about 30 mins.

JJacob WayneThe hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.

PPengguna TetamuThis second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway.
The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting.
The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack.
Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. Hats off to the staff. 感谢你们让我们住得特别舒服！

VVicki S.We found this hotel to be extremely enjoyable!! Many of the staff could speak English and there was no stress to communicate what we needed. The interior and exterior are beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very tasty. Best breakfast buffet we’ve had in China so far! The only improvement would be the smell of the bedding in the room. It smelled just a bit dusty.

我我叫莎莎This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

KKeithWe stayed at this excellent hotel for three nights during our first visit to Dalian in May. The room was very clean and had some very useful amenities such as a refrigerator, clothes washer and a bidet toilet. It was very convenient to wash our clothes and save money.
The staff was very helpful and kind. Mr. Chen helped me find an excellent Thai massage spa (Tai Baba) nearby and helped us get taxis. We are especially grateful to the manager Mr. Leon. He left his busy post at the front desk and walked with me several blocks to get medicine for my wife who was briefly ill.
We opted for the Chinese breakfast all three days and it was very good. However, the western food selection was limited. That was not a problem for us because the Chinese food was delicious. We are from the USA.
Mr. Leon recommended an excellent Japanese restaurant (Konoha or Jiuye) with a huge menu selection in the same building. We ate there twice and there was a waitress who spoke fluent Japanese. There are many Japanese restaurants in close walking distance to the hotel. Also, the hotel is located near a shopping mall with a huge food court on the top floor. The modern style comes with all amenities you need for a shorter stay. Be aware that the rooms are not soundproof, so you will hear all noices and talks from other hotel guests from the hallway.
The best feature is the rooftop bar on top of the hotel with breathtaking view.
I would definitely stay here again!

SSimpleConvincerI had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down.
I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind.
I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

WWeAreNicoThe hotel was in a good location pretty Central. Very basic and room a little small also the hotel was very dark with no windows. But the price was great and there were a lot of areas to use outside of the rooms. Everywhere was super clean. I would stay here again.
