Great location right off the highway and by college campus/Bush library. We enjoyed the room and design as well as the bar/commons area (unfortunately did not bring swim suits for the indoor pool for the cold rainy day, would have been nice). Was a little weird to not have ice available on the floors and finally figured out we had to just grap qt bags out of the freezer in the lobby (no one mentioned that) but for all the fun aesthetics and location there wasnt much we could complain about (as long as you look around and find the best price as online it was coming up wildly different). Overall would definitely stay again and recommend.

I have been residing at the Greenville Ave Extended Stay for close to 5 years. I have experienced a few personnel changes througout this time. Kendrick Johnson was a breath of fresh air & very much needed at this location. His level of service & professionalism exceeds all others. He goes above & beyond to addres all issues that arise, in an expeditious manner and always kind. Kathleen, who works overnight, has always gone out of her way to be accommodating as well. She is consistent & always works very hard. Candace is a new addition to the front desk & I am more than impressed with her expeditious attention to all issues. She always ensures mail & packages are delivered as promptly as they arrive. I so very much respect her strong work ethic and the kindness that accompanies it at all times. They are a great team.

I typically read reviews on TripAdvisor when planning travel but tend to not write so many, but I saw there hasn't been a review of this hotel since 2019 before the COVID pandemic, which had me hesitant to book here not knowing the current conditions, so I thought I'd add a few quick words to update this page. We checked in last night for the first of 4 nights here. The lobby was appealingly arranged with decorations up for Christmas. The hotel and room are clean and comfortable, seemingly having been renovated relatively recently. The location feels safe and has nearby restaurants, but is far enough from the highway to seem pretty quiet (at least in our room it is). The reception and breakfast staff have been friendly and welcoming, and Gerardo in the breakfast area had the buffet stocked and hot right up until breakfast finished at 9am (we came down to eat only about 10 minutes before 9am to grab a bite of what was left, and sometimes at other hotels we've seen food cold and/or depleted by that time, but that wasn't the case here--there were hot egg-white omelets, sausage links and cinnamon rolls waiting for us). We are IHG rewards members and have stayed at our fair share of Holiday Inn Express hotels across the country, and this one ranks among the better ones we've been to, especially considering that the price we booked the room at was comparatively quite reasonable. We chose here because it is not too far from the city center but also close to the wide selection of authentic Chinese restaurants in the Richardson and Plano suburbs which we are seeking out specifically, so the location is quite suitable for our purposes. We have 3 more nights to go but are quite pleased with everything so far, so I decided to go ahead and write this review before I forget to do so. I would recommend this Holiday Inn Express.
