Very pleasant clean hotel well located right next to the railway station. It’s as you would expect for Holiday Inn. The room which we asked for my top story was modern fresh, lovely linen and a lovely big bathroom. We couldn’t get the TV to work one morning morning, we were checking out so I didn’t bother. Housekeeping came every day and the toiletries in the bathroom was dove and it was lovely a real nice touch. Head disabled parking which is what I needed close to the entrance door. The service from the desk at reception was very efficient. The breakfast was a good selection, although there are no cooked breakfast available.

The hotel is good but the customer experience is terrible. On the first day they did an authorazisation transcaction much higher than my actual reservation. I cleared my bill at the check out day but the difference (approx 200 euros) is still blocked after 20 days. I have called them i have send 2 emails and nothing! Unacceptable behavior!

In viaggio per lavoro sono capitata per caso nel ristorante di questo albergo. Che dire... che fortuna! Un secondo piatto con fegato di vitello morbido e dal gusto delicato, patate buonissime (no, non è scontato, anche se il livello medio è sempre alto), crepe squisita con gelato superlativo. Birra locale ottima. Il tutto ad un prezzo onestissimo, meno di quello che mi aspettavo. Il personale è gentile e non invadente e non cerca di vendere altro on aggiunta, anzi, mi hanno sconsigliato di prendere l'antipasto vista l'abbondanza del seco do. Sicuramente un posto dove tornerei più che volentieri!

Für Business garantiert das beste Hotel, da alle darmstadt-relevanten Firmen direkt um die Ecke sind. Für Touristen zu weit entfernt vom Zentrum. Aber: ein tolles Hotel mit fantastischem Konzept. Alles wirkt neu renoviert, und das mit Liebe. Personal sehr hilfsbereit - und das 24/7. Super sauber... Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Frühstücksleistung ebenfalls sehr gut.

Terrible experience. I I'm sorry to say this was the worst experience i have ever had in a hotel. Pillows smelled like cigarette, room was cold and they could not make it warmer (i understand they want to save energy, but we were freezing and the lady i was working with had to lend me a radiator so we could stay more comfortable), they were very unkind and wouldn't speak English with me in the reception, nobody helped me to bring my luggage downstairs. I felt they had prejudice agaist non europeen people. I'll come, but never again to this hotel. If you are deciding where to stay and you look for good energy and kindness, please choose any other place. I feel sad to say this hotel is horrible. I am editing this review now to clarify the lies they are telling in the answer. Those lies only confirm to me how bad they are. I would never ask a pregnant lady to carry weight. I am a mother myself, i was with my baby in the hotel, and know how important it is to respect mothers. I attach to my review the screenshot of my email in the early morning asking for help to carry the luggage at 10 am, and the answer of the hotel saying yes (freathening me to delete my negative review to offer me this help). Other lie is that it was 18 degrees outdoors when i asked for more heating in the room. I attach also the image of the weather record, showing it was 13 maximun the day i checked-in. Anyway, my child plays in the floor and i wanted a warm floor. The only lady who spoke english was yelling at me in German when i went to pick up the luggage, just because i did a bad review and i said the service was bad. It was a traumatic experience and i trully wish all mothers are respected and that we live in a world with more loving people. Neat, clean, modern hotel. Cash free. The rooms were comfortable for the most part, with plenty of power points and a large LED TV, however the room lacked a fridge. This wouldn't normally bother me, but I was staying 12 days. The bathrooms are the typical plastic ones found in cheaper hotels. Be aware that the entrance to the parking is extremely tight. They say 2m wide however it is actually only about 1.8m at the entrance boom gate. To fit I needed to retract the mirrors on the vehicle. The hotel is cashless, but frustratingly the vending machine in the lobby only takes cash - and the staff can't provide change. A solid 3 star hotel
