Hotel berhampiran Brisbane West Indoor Sports Centre, Darra

I stayed here for 6 nights for a training course nearby. I was impressed overall. Room was clean, wifi was very fast with a strong signal and the room relatively was quiet, despite being near a busy main road. Rooms included a pod coffee machine too, with coffee pods free of charge from reception. Walking distance from Rocklea railway station (which is temporarily closed but has stationlink buses to to the next station up the line). Only minor quibble was that reception was sometimes closed earlier than the published hours. I would happily stay here again.

The Soho Hotel in Brisbane is definitely great value for what you pay. The rooms might be a bit small, but they've got everything you need: a fridge, desk, comfy bed, and a decent bathroom. It's also nice and quiet. Having the free city bus right outside is a huge plus. No lift, which was a bit of a hassle for me with my back issue, but that's on me to check next time. The hosts are top-notch – super friendly and welcoming, probably the best we've met during our three months of travel. Considering the price, you're getting a lot for your money here.

Saya dan rakan kongsi saya menempah bersama-sama pada akaun saya (kerana saya kerap melakukan perjalanan, *****ran saya lebih tinggi) tetapi membayar dengan kadnya. Saya biasanya menerima naik taraf percuma ke bilik saya tetapi dalam kes ini mahu menjadikannya istimewa, membayar tambahan untuk bilik dengan pemandangan. Kami mempunyai bilik sudut kecil (tidak seperti bilik yang pernah saya tinggali sebelum ini) dan yang mengecewakan kami tiada pemandangan langsung. Saya menyoal perkara ini dan walaupun dapat menunjukkan tambahan yang dibayar memberitahu saya bahawa secara teknikal dikelilingi dan disesakkan di antara bangunan perniagaan tinggi, ia adalah ”pemandangan bandar”. Malam kedua kami di sana pergi ke selatan tanpa gangguan kepada orang lain yang tinggal di sana mahupun kakitangan hotel namun sebagai cara untuk terus mendera saya, menelefon hotel dan tanpa sebarang notis telah dibuang. Mereka bukan sahaja tidak mengendahkan tanda-tanda jelas pasangan A cuba menimbulkan masalah kepada pasangan mereka, mereka membolehkannya dan mengancam saya dengan polis selepas cuba mempertikaikan perkara itu. Saya bercadang untuk membawa perkara ini lebih jauh.

Recommend if you are looking for a clean and quality place to stay and are a budget traveller. This yha has a very high standard compared to others. It is more like a youth hotel with bunk beds rather than a backpackers place. You also meet travellers of all ages, families and youth groups around the place. The rooms are super tidy and serviced daily, spacious luggage lockers that fit a large suitcase (fantastic!) and are light filled with aircon or windows to be opened. The kitchen is very big, nice rooftop terrace with city views and pool area. Tv lounge and soon it’s own co working hub which I think is a great addition to the concept. Free luggage storage for guests and friendly and helpful staff.

We booked a one bedroom apartment with mountain view for Brisbane river fire. It was a very pleasant stay and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location with a short stroll to the culture centre and Southbank. The coffee shop downstairs made breakfast easy. It was also great value for money. The only downside was the closeness to the train tracks so you could hear the train all night - but it wasn’t that loud and didn’t really impact our sleep.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, although official check-in time is 18:30, they can arrange late check-in. Good value for money.

As a very frequent guest of this hotel over many years, I was disappointed to discover that the overall vibe had taken a rather sharp downturn since my last visit in October 2022. Given that I have had numerous excellent experiences in the past, however, I do not think it would be fair to speculate as to why this downturn has occurred, other than to acknowledge that it felt as though the employees were not their usual selves. Nevertheless, our stay this time was still enjoyable and a special mention must go to Raj at the front desk, who was fantastic as always. Also, we had a very pleasant encounter with Dot from housekeeping, who went out of her way to ensure that our room was serviced in time for our early return on one of the days of our stay. She was lovely and a pleasure to deal with. Employees like Raj and Dot really make this hotel what it is and I really hope that their contribution is properly appreciated by the powers at be.

I had the BEST stay here! Over the last few weeks I’ve stayed in a few hotels in the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast before getting to Brisbane. My 2 night stay at The Brook was the best so far! The room was so nice & clean, the staff were warm, friendly & helpful. The food at the restaurant was delish & the little extra’s were such a nice touch & so appreciated. There was a complimentary drink offered for the restaurant, a 10% discount on food, nice bottle of red wine in the room, and in the bathroom there was double the toiletries (which was so good because you know 1 of those tiny bottles of shower gel is never enough). They even gave me a late check out at no extra charge. Gemma & Emma in the restaurant/bar were so helpful, kind & down to earth. And the tree! The tree covered in fairy lights was the highlight. Overall, I can not fault it!! It was amazing & I would definitely stay again!

Its a hit & miss type of accommodation , I have stayed at the property a few times and was fine, but last stay the main TV did not work and told reception and still noting was done, and the room was due for a carpet replacement or a big steam clean with stains all over the carpet, hot water took about 4 min to to get warm.
