The environment here is really good, and the seating is very comfortable. It's also quite convenient for transportation. The hotel's front desk service was excellent; they were very polite.

The location is great, very close to the ancient city, just a ten-minute bike ride away. The landlady and the front desk staff were warm and provided great service. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Datong.

This hotel is incredibly comfortable. It's so important to have a comfortable place to stay when you're traveling. Every day, I'd return to the hotel, exhausted, and it felt just like coming home. The underfloor heating was wonderfully warm; I could walk around in just a T-shirt and shorts. They also provided a thoughtful humidifier. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable with no unpleasant smells, and the bathroom and shower were also immaculate. It was incredibly pleasant! The staff (ladies) were also exceptionally kind and friendly, and you could talk to them about any needs you had. A truly wonderful experience!

The most comfortable parent-child hotel we've ever stayed at with our child! I wholeheartedly recommend it to all moms and dads out there! 🛏️ Three-meter super-wide bed, tumble around worry-free! The room features a super-sized tatami area with a special mattress over three meters wide. Our child can roll around freely while sleeping, and we adults don't have to worry about them falling off the bed at all. We finally got a full night's sleep! 🎠 Kids' playground + thoughtful service, hands-free! The hotel's public area on the first floor is an absolute paradise for children! It not only has bookshelves, climbing frames, and a trampoline, but it's also very close to the front desk. When the staff aren't busy, they'll even proactively play with the kids, allowing parents to relax on the nearby lounge sofas, enjoy a coffee, or scroll through their phones. It truly delivers a "hands-free" experience. 🌳 Superb ambiance, cozy and comfortable! We stayed in a first-floor room, and just outside the window was a small green park. The afternoon sun filtering through the tree shadows into the room created an amazing atmosphere. The room is very spacious, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom are incredibly convenient. We stayed here for three days, and the whole family was super happy and comfortable! It's definitely our top choice when visiting Datong, and we can't wait to go back!

Wooden furniture, warm lighting, and thoughtfully displayed local characteristics and surrounding information reveal the owner's excellent taste. I initially booked for one night but I decided to stay for another night. Total two nights in the same room. Room is very clean, very quiet and the bed was superb, I slept very well. Staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel's location is about 10mins taxi from the old town centre but it is very convenient. If you don't like super crowded area with noisy street vendors and many tourists, I would recommend this place. I personally really enjoyed staying at this hotel, will definitely stay here again if I come back to Datong in future.

Ding ding ding! This is such a lovely place! First, the ladies at the front desk are incredibly enthusiastic. They answer every question and respond to every request. Chatting with them was always lighthearted and pleasant. Second, it's small but mighty! The facilities are complete and convenient to use. The toiletries are all disposable, which feels safe and hygienic (the hand soap smells amazing, haha). Third, it's super easy to get to – just take bus #3 from the high-speed train station and it's right across the street. There's a big shopping mall with a Walmart nearby, and lots of tasty little shops too, hee hee. Fourth, it's only about a 10-minute stroll to the ancient city. Fifth, the design of the first floor is really unique. Unfortunately, my itinerary was too packed to experience it, but I'm looking forward to it on my next trip to Datong!

The moment I entered the room, I was hit by a pungent sour smell, just like foot odor. And there were flies on the bed. Coupled with the concrete floor and crude renovation, I instantly felt terrible. I thought, 'Is this what a hundred-something yuan hotel is like?' At that moment, I wanted to check out and find a new hotel. I deeply regret not acting on that impulse. I contacted the front desk, and they told me to wait. After about ten minutes, the front desk staff came in and confirmed the sour smell, explaining it was from the cleaner using white vinegar to remove scale earlier that afternoon. I then asked how to solve it, saying, 'The sour smell is so strong, and there are flies in the room. How am I supposed to stay here?' They told me to open the door and windows to ventilate, and it would get better. As for the flies, they suggested they must have flown in when the door was open for ventilation in the afternoon. So, am I supposed to waste my check-in time ventilating the room? I also told them that I hadn't booked this hotel last minute; I had reserved it many days in advance, and I didn't even check in early; I only arrived at 7 PM. So, why didn't your hotel prepare the room properly? You knew a guest was checking in soon, yet the room had such a strong smell. After hearing me out, the front desk offered to switch me to another room of the same type, which they said had no smell. I thought that would be the end of it. But when I woke up in the morning, my wrist was itchy, and I found a patch of red rash. I've been in Datong for four days now, and honestly, this is the worst hotel I've stayed in here, and it even gave me a skin rash! I immediately went to the front desk to explain the situation. Initially, I wanted to resolve it amicably: just give me a different room and cover the cost of the skin cream. I was willing to overlook the discomfort, the wasted travel time, and the ruined mood. However, the hotel showed no intention of resolving the issue. They even told Ctrip that I couldn't prove the rash was contracted at their hotel, and that they had proof of insect extermination. Therefore, they wouldn't compensate me. At most, they'd give me a clean room of the same type or re-clean my current room. Seriously? Do I need to take full-body photos of my skin every time I check into a hotel, otherwise, if I get skin problems, I just have to accept it as bad luck? That's ridiculous. And what does your proof of insect extermination prove? Does it mean no more insects can get in afterward? Then where did that fly come from? Did it magically appear? There are also a few other drawbacks. First, the hairdryer was broken when I arrived. Second, the disposable toilet seat covers are of very poor quality, and they don't provide them unless you ask. Third, the disposable bath towels and face towels are also low quality, not pure cotton but plant fiber. However, these flaws are minor, as it's only a hundred-something yuan room. If you don't mind the sour smell and the risk of skin rashes, you can still try it for the cheap price. The front desk service attitude was okay, but they were unable to resolve the problems.

The first thing I did every morning was open them to see if the sun was out before heading out to play. Plus, the room is quite spacious and even has a humidifier, so I didn't even need to use the one I brought. **Laundry:** There's plenty of space in the room to hang clothes, which is super friendly for someone who likes to wash things often. **Other:** They provide disposable bath towels and face towels, and the shower gel and shampoo are both Japanese horse oil brands.
