I want to start by saying that this hotel has the best staff—everyone was incredibly friendly and eager to help. Specially, Herr Zeqir. The front desk service was outstanding. My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and I was completely surprised by their thoughtful gestures. After we went for lunch and a hike, we returned to find a beautiful flower arrangement, a plant gift, champagne, and even an entire cake waiting for us! It was such a wonderful surprise.

We have a good 7 nights stay at this hotel. Location is perfect, 5 min walk to the Davos Dorf train station, bus stop in front of the hotel and a short 10 min walk to Lake Davos. Easy train connection from Zurich Airport to hotel (2.30 hrs) and return. Helpful front office staff to provide useful information about Davos. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable except for the pillows that were too firm. Breakfast was Ok, the selection has not changed throughout my stay. Had dinner for 3 nights but not impressed with it. Overall, it was a good stay.

Fantastic hotel for a ski getaway Our trip was marked with outstanding service not only at hotel but at the local ski school. We also had a great time in St Moritz Ecco as well so many things too ok do and learn in a new country. We will definitely come again. It was just a short plane trip from Paris.

Positive: Nice room, good facilities, beautiful SPA area (that`s why gave at least some Points) Negative: Half board dinner was really poor, something you can buy in a grocery (e.g. smoked trout with toast, tomato soup from can) and cheesecake was totally unenjoyable (worst cheesecake in my life). Actually we would be happier if cheese cake would be grocery store quality. Moreover, staff was new and the manager pointed out on their mistakes less than 2 m from our table, so we could hear everything. Very unprofessional from restaurant manager! SPA: SPA was open till 21:00. At 20:00 no staff was presented. Probably due to lack of personnel: there were no glasses for water (there were no glasses when I come and there were no glasses when I left 30 min later), floors were wet. There were people walking in street clothes and shoes along the sauna, looking thought the glass wall inside of sauna. People were just lost as there were no-one who could guide them. However, for someone who was at the same time in sauna it was very unpleasant. After complaining about the situation at reception desk, again situation was not treated professionally, far away from 5-start hotel level. The service level was very cheap and poor!!!

Excellent hotel, extremely comfortable rooms, great breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff. Bus stop just outside and a short walk to Davos Dorf railway station. Try for a room at the front...they are big, have a balcony and a great view. We had two x 4 foot extremely comfortable beds in our twin. Free bottles of still and sparkling water, coffee maker, fridge. Other reviews mentioned being unable to leave a bathroom light on at night, which we couldn't figure out either.... so I asked for help and discovered that you have to work backwards! Turn all lights ON then turn off the ones you don't need. Simple when you knew how. Take adaptors....all the sockets are the flattened diamond shape and will not accept the round ones used elsewhere around Europe. The hotel had a small quantity of assorted types (probably left behind by guests) none of which would accept a UK plug, but these soon ran out. There is only ONE USB point in the room which seems odd in a hotel which has so recently been renovated.

This was my second stay at the Seehof and it surpassed my expectations once more. Another great stay and skiing holiday. I wouldn't normally single out individuals as all the staff were great but I would like to commend Carlos (the waiter) who consistently offered exceptional service, displaying professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanour that greatly enhanced my dining experience. Truly an asset to the Seehof Hotel. Please pass on my best wishes to Carlos.

The hotel is in a superb location for skiing considering the walk to the lift is literally 30 seconds. It is fair to say that the hotel is in the heart of Davos Dorf which is the calm and quiet side of Davos. For the lively part and the good after-ski places you have to take a bus for 10 mins to Davos Platz. The spa of the hotel is nice and the rooms are decent size. The only complaint is probably the service. Staff are friendly but the service is very inefficient and slow. For example, if you order off the menu for breakfast (like an omelette) be prepared to wait an inappropriate time or even not get your order.
