La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Deerfield Beach I-95 at Hillsboro E

Good quiet stay. Ice machine wasn’t working and there was no breakfast

Dirty area and the rooms were ok. Bed was very uncomfortable.

The room was large and clean but bet was soft and lower in the center! He staff didn’t tell us the road in and out would be closed the morning we were to depart because of a parade! Very inconvenient

Facility was run down. Checked in, dropped suitcase, went out for dinner. Returned tired, turned on one light, brushed teeth, went to sleep. Woke up with dead guest laying next to me(cockroach). How I missed how unacceptable the facility was is on me. Don’t make my mistake. Hotel cancelled second night, would not credit first night. I guess they were overbooked and decided to put unintended guests( cockroach) in my room.

we rented for 2 people we got 3 pillows for a king size bed one towel each and one wash cloth and handtowel the bathtub was amess it needed to be replaced it didnt look clean

Buyer beware—a highly substandard member of Laquinta/wyndham group—-that insists upon calling environmentally unsanitary conditions at La Quinta Deerfield (Hillsboro blvd) resulting in sudden need foe emergency room care as “an convenience”. Seemingly less than honest mngt—alleges my room was changed 3 times and inspection found no bugs…albeit inn keeper so bug photo and “reassured me” it was just “cockroach” not “bed bugs” im still ill and in followup medical care over one week after departure. Plus refuses to accept my personal belongings need to be fumigated before i can retrieve them

Very disappointed. Thought La Quinta was a good franchise. Saw the badly broken window when I arrived at the room. Instead of replacing had another glass pane over the broken one. Multiple large stains all over carpet, looked like never been cleaned. Roaches in room & mildew all over filthy bathroom. Would definitely avoid this place.

Checked in at check-in time. Only 1 luggage cart available. Two teens had their stuff piled on it while awaiting others to join them. Drove to end of the building where elevator was. We carried our luggage across the end of the building and almost to the other end of the side walkway. We are nearly 70 and nearly 80 years old. The bathtub was probably clean, but definitely needed to be upgraded. Worst part of all: roaches. While lying in the bed reading a book, something moving caught my eye. It was a roach. My hubby went to the desk. Was told the maintenance man would come up and spray. Waited an hour and was told he was “on his way”. After another hour, he was told that it had been taken care of before the prior maintenance man left. We had not left the room since check-in. No one had been in to spray. He said he would come after he gathered the stuff. He came and sprayed around the base of the walls and on the floor around the bed. (We had seen another one crawling on the corner of the mattress while waiting for him to spray.) After he left, we saw more running on top of the bedside tables, the desk, & up the walls, in our open cooler and across the bathroom floor. The next morning he mentioned the roaches to the guy checking us out. He said it again with no response. When he asked if the guy was going to address his roaches comment, he finally said, “I’m sorry”. Difficult to sleep thinking roaches may be running across you while you slept.
