La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbia NE / Fort Jackson

I checked in pretty late. It took almost an hour to finally get someone to come to the desk. Had I not booked through an app I would have gone somewhere else. They did discount the room for my troubles. The room was very clean & the complimentary breakfast was pretty good as well. Overall my stay was pretty pleasant. Even after the rocky start I would book again when I visit the area.

Very clean. Staff was extremely attentive. Check in was extremely efficient and room was exactly as advertised. Only minor gripe was the smoke detector wake up call at 5:30am. Reason stated by front desk staff was someone was smoking in their room. Not sure why this would cause smoke alarms in other rooms to make noise but it wasn't an actual fire alarm (no strobes and sound went away after one or two times...also no fire trucks!) Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed one night. The floor in our room was dirty. An article was left behind and when I called about it I was told it wasn't turned in. It was left in the room! The room didn't get cleaned or it was taken by staff.

Everything was good. Room was clean, and smelled really good too. The room and the entire loony and gym were quite modernized and well kept. Super trendy and cute! Lots of breakfast options, from waffles, fruit, hash browns, eggs and bacon! The only couple of issues were how to access the hotel, traffic gets really backed up. The second issue we had was that we were out in room 319 which is right next to the ice machine, and you could hear it all night. The third issue was that and it’s not much of an issue, but we tried to extend our stay at the front desk and we were told that it would be $122 vs booking on ******* which was showing at $98.00 plus the other fee. Which I guess going through ******* is way cheaper vs going through the hotel directly. Also, the shower has some drywall falling, but we forgot to let them know.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Our room was spotless. The staff were so courteous and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend!

A lesser quality of hotel, holy kow this hotel was better than a few 5 star hotels i have stayed at. Keep up the quality service and care. I will be back.

This property is sparkling. Inside and out, it feels like a brand new hotel. But the efficiency and friendliness of its operations – frontdesk personnel and housekeeping - work like a well oiled machine, always smooth, always responsive. Highly recommended.

Place was very good overall, room floor was not vacuumed all the way crumbs were visble. Breakfast personnel were awesome but hash browns were cardboard hard (Microwave cooke overdone). But for an overall one night stay at the property and the prompt and courteous service of all personnel were very nice people, these are the reason why I give a 4 star to this hotel this stay.

This was a great choice for my family. It was convenient to the highway, restaurants nearby, nice beds, no noise, breakfast was nice, staff friendly.... Ok. That's enough. Just see for yourself like we did. You won't be disappointed.
