Hotel berhampiran City and County Building, Denver

Booked in advance. National Hostel World reservation. Holiday weekend July 4th. Volunteers and most staff were very nice. Place was clean and the developing needs of the travelers were anticipated and provided for within reason. That is the good. The bad is that there are folks that travel this way who are not terribly responsible for personal health care. Don't get me wrong, these are good people however, close proximity and prolonged contact with the streets have softened their resolve to be proactive and disciplined about the specific behavior of self care. After a four night stay, I came away with a viral condition that caused a need to isolate for a period after returning home. I realize the good, the bad and the indifferent are relative to our frame of reference. The indifferent for me in this example took shape as I had prolonged contact with the general manager. In her defense, dealing with all the personalities and various stages of need has to be exhausting. When you talk over what a guest is asking to answer a question that is anticipated but incorrectly assumed, things can get frustrating. When problems in serving guests are preventable and or easily correctable, answering the wrong question because of an OCD need to be efficient truly serves no one. My stay included the good, housekeeping was excellent, The bad, I incurred disrespectful behavior and additional charges because the general manager may indeed be managing extreme burnout, and the indifferent? An example here is that the regular clientele are adaptive and forgiving due to having in some cases, no where else to go. Bottom line? If you are immunocompromised or have a thin skin for slights, abrupt answers to questions, or are of an age where decency and respect are a staple of your personal value set, I ask again, is this really what you want?

Great hotel overall. One of the lamps in our room wasn't functioning. Apart from that, great location, staff.

When I found it online I was a little Skeptic because of location. Everything about the location it appears has changed the whole tell was beautiful and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Everybody was awesome.

Me and my husband checked in on Thursday the 31st for a little getaway for a few days. The room itself was very nice. The attendees not at all. After we were finally able to check in we had to wait almost 5 mins for the only working elevator to take us to our floor. Not because it's a large hotel as it's only 5 floors but because it was extremely slow. My husband woke around 3 am and looked out the window to see that our truck was no longer there. Mind you we were not only under a light but also a working camera. When we went down to talk to the desk it took her a while to come out of the office and she rudely confirmed that our vehicle had been broken in to hot wired and stolen. She was annoyed by the fact that we reported it as and I quote it happens here all the time they will just drop it somewhere once the fuel is gone. She was in the office on her phone and not watching said monitors. Why have them if they are not going to watch them?? After almost 2 hours the cops came and again the attendee couldn't even call us down to meet them, the sheriff had to call us. That was the last time we were spoken to by the staff. The housekeeping staff would park there carts next to our room but we were never offered any service even though our booking was for 3 nights. The management never contacted us in regards to the theft. No one did. I will never be back here. We do plan on contacting corporate as we feel as though the hotel itself should have some sort of responsibility and also because it seems as though this is a regular occurrence here at this hotel.

I loved this hotel! I was passing through and everything was super clean, all the staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful and it was quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is very outdated. The first thing I noticed was the elevator… there’s only one and it’s really small. Grant it, it’s a small property but that’s the first sign of a cheap hotel. Second thing I noticed was upon entering the room, the beds were sunken in…Both mattresses on queen beds. FYI …There are no usb outlets by the bedside. Not enough lighting in the room. The shampoo and conditioner aren’t worth using. Watery and ineffective. Breakfast: coffee was good. They had waffle machine, cold cereal, a couple different type packaged muffins and weird orange chicken nuggets. The hotel has no frills, Very old building … I’ll never stay at a Quality Inn again.
