A guesthouse that truly exceeded expectations! The room was spacious and airy, well-equipped with practical amenities. Plenty of hot water and good heating made for a very comfortable stay. The owner was incredibly genuine, offering practical and reliable local tips that really enhanced our trip, and even helped us sort out some minor travel issues. Excellent value for money, it was a truly delightful stay and definitely worth revisiting multiple times!

This hotel is really great! Its location is excellent, perched high up in Shang Yubeng, offering fantastic views. It's also set back from the main road in a quiet corner, so you won't be disturbed by cars or other tourists in the morning. The scenery is amazing; you can see the snowy mountains right from your bed. The room has heating, an electric blanket, and an extra thick blanket, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although the room facilities are simple, they have everything you need. The landlady is especially friendly and very patient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Yubeng is a truly remote destination, renowned for its trekking routes. As expected in such an isolated area, facilities are far less modern than those in cities, and maintenance comes at a higher cost. This lodge is situated in Upper Yubeng and offers an excellent base for visiting the Glacial Lake and Ni She. Considering its location, the pricing is reasonable and affordable. I personally enjoyed the stay and recommend it to those experienced trekkers.

De Si Guesthouse: A Hidden Gem in Yubeng, offering an exceptional experience! Choosing De Si Guesthouse was the best decision of our Yubeng trekking trip! From the moment we stepped into the guesthouse at the entrance of Upper Yubeng Village, we were instantly charmed by the serene atmosphere nestled amidst the mountains. The wooden architecture exudes a strong local character, and the tea room and sun lounge in the common areas are both cozy and elegant, with thoughtful details visible everywhere. The room itself was a delightful surprise! It was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, with soft and thick bedding that kept us warm on chilly high-altitude nights. The absolute highlight was the viewing balcony; opening the door revealed a direct panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. Waking up to the golden rays of the sun illuminating the peaks in the morning was breathtaking – every photo taken was a masterpiece, no filters needed. 24-hour hot water and high-speed WiFi were also readily available. I must commend the owner and staff for their exceptional service! The owner was warm and genuine. We stayed here for three days and were surrounded by beautiful scenery and warmth every single day. Whether it's the location, facilities, cleanliness, or service, there's absolutely nothing to fault. It's definitely the top choice for accommodation in Yubeng! The next time I come to Yubeng, I will definitely stay here again, and I've already recommended it to friends planning a trekking trip. I sincerely hope this hidden gem of a guesthouse gets discovered by more people~

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were very kind—they gave us helpful route suggestions for hiking and even let us use their washer and dryer for free. They also provided walking sticks, which came in handy. The hot water was reliable (a big plus, especially during the rainy season), and the room was comfortable. The view of the mountains was amazing, and to top it off, they have a super cute and friendly dog who made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area!

Location is easy to find and overlooking the Yubeng valley and nice view of surrounding mountain range. Very friendly and Care loving staffs. Provide good informations for local transportation and place of interests. The resturant provide good meals and customised menu too. Provide a friendly and cosy place by the fire place where all shared travel stories. Will stronely recommand this inn for travellers.

We arrived to the inn after 9 hours of hiking mostly uphill, so safe to say we were exhausted The staff were very kind and helpful and the food they made was delicious The view from the room was beautiful but the only thing is that the toilet is a hole (a bit hard for me to get used to especially after a hike with all my muscles screaming) and that the beds were a bit hard. But still it was a very nice place

great mountain views, cozy & welcoming environment: Guesthouses provided a comfortable and friendly base for exploring the region. Basic Amenities: well-equipped, the style is simple and functional.

Place ran by an older couple that are very helpful and they cook very good food (the chaofan was delicious). The views are breathtaking, specially from the second floor. The rooms are very simple, the bathrooms could be better, but it is understandable as we’re high up in the mountain. The room was a bit cold, but the bed had a heat mat which was key to spend the night.

The host is nice, but the facilities was old and a disappointed

The accommodation is a little difficult to find as there are many uphill dirt paths around. The hostess was a sweet lady, and was very accommodating, and the staff even helped me dry our clothes. The food cooked by the host was a refreshing change from all the spicy malat dishes, and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

Very good considering that Kunming is a rustic destination
