Tempatnya agak buruk, kakitangannya ramah tetapi mereka pasti dapat meningkatkan kekemasan. Bantal tambahan yang terdapat di dalam almari pakaian tidak mempunyai sarung dan terdapat kesan pada cadar dan sarung selimut juga

Enjoyed the stay - had a lovely and fairly cheap (by today's standards) evening meal. Pizzas are huge - and pudding was excellent. Some guy took his meal to his room though and bunged his leftovers out in the corridor where it stayed all night (most unsightly and a bit smelly). Not Travelodges' fault though - because why didn't he take his leftovers back to the dining room! Staff were very pleasant - I would stay again - maybe for the cricket if I got a even numbered room of course!

Just back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. Arrived around 6pm on the Friday evening. Quick check-in - nice clean room on the second floor. About 5 minutes walk from Derby station. Breakfast was the usual buffet but it was topped up at regular intervals - nice and hot and set us up for the day. Would happily use again in the future.

The location is ideal for Derby centre and surrounding area, my trip is mainly business and I always look for value for money and comfort, travel lodge have come a long way in recent years and staff have become very good at keeping the customer happy, this travel lodge ticks all boxes for me, welcoming, comfy rooms with everything needed and apart from the toilet roll holder being set very low, everything was set for a great stay, staff at this branch go out of their way to make a pleasant stay, Julia, Ellie and Emma should take credit for being great hosts and doing a brilliant job.

We travelled to Derby to visit family with our 3 year old daughter. We decided for the first tike ever that we would stay in a hotel. We'll We were not disappointed! The rooms were clean and of a good standard, beds comfy and shower was lovely! Staff were very helpful and friendly especially a lady called Denise 🙂. There's a greggs and a garage next door and the carpark if free! Will definitely be returning, thank you!

Could not do any more for us, Oliver was amazing, had an issue with our Air con, happily sorted within 5 minutes into a different room and even wirh the little issue at 4am in the morning with the aircon making a noise he made sure that everything was spot on and apologised for the issues but we did understand as they are undergoing refurbishment and was prewarned beforehand.

My room was on the third floor, there is no lift but the hotel do inform you of this. It faced away from the road. Was quiet, clean & tidy with T & Coffee facilities and a comfortable bed with a large flat screen TV. Breakfast was good, with continental and cooked options. There is paid parking but again this is made clear on their website. Think a 10am check out is a bit too early.

After waiting almost 9 months to get away for our honeymoon, we certainly had higher expectations. The grounds of breadsall are beautiful but sadly for our experience that is really where it stopped. The bedroom was very tatty and looked very unloved - wallpaper peeling and a large empty space by the window (the pictures on the website show beautiful green chairs) we managed to locate the ”restaurant” for our evening meal, what chaos!! Apparently the restaurant is having a refurb - we were not advised of this - so we were plonked in the bar for dinner....along with what seemed liked a hundred golfers - the setting and noise was like being at a Hollywood bowl party! There was clearly a staff shortage too, the serving staff were running here there and everywhere and we had to wait a very long time for the menu and for our food. Such a shame as the food was fantastic. Our night was ok, but for a few disturbances. It might be helpful at check in to remind residents of the ”quiet times”. We were hoping for a little lie in but was startled at 7.15am when the housekeeper let herself in to our room whilst we were sleeping.....never ever have we experienced that before. Now breakfast was tasty, and in a much nicer setting than the bar..... however, I wasn't so impressed that we had to lay our own table, the milk jug was also empty.....when we requested some milk my husband got a 4pint of milk plonked down to help yourself......I guess refilling the milk jug was too much effort. Off to the spa (the treatment rooms ”spa” is tiny separate from the hotel and pool and is very basic. It's very odd the spa being outside - it's all a strange layout..... walking through the bar in my dressing gown to get to the pool got some funny looks too) The treatment was very good, just a shame about the refurb building works.....workmen hammering and talking really spoilt the relaxation experience. Hopefully our second night will be more relaxing, although it's a good job we checked what time our evening meal was booked for tonight as it apparently had not been booked....not sure how that is possible when you book a 2 night spa package. My closing thoughts are that Breadsall really should have notified guest that works were taking place (and the impact this would have) we would certainly have chosen an alternative hotel spa to enjoy our much awaited honeymoon. We have stayed in a number of different Marriott spa hotels over the years and sadly breadsall has a lot to learn in terms of luxury and service. Overall a big disappointment and certainly not the experience we have come to expect from a Marriott Spa Hotel.

We came to stay for 1 night for an event at our daughters University. We was not sure what to expect initially but first impressions were ok for the price paid. We only spent around an hour there after a 5 hour drive before heading to the event we came for so we were tired and didn’t check around the room or anything. Upon our return, we noticed that the extractor fan was not working and not switch on any wall to control it then also noticed the screw for the shower rail was loose enough that it is only just hanging on. It was also very warm inside the room but there is no air con or even a fan to speak of so had to sleep with the windows open. The place was also very dusty in obvious places like the light fixings and the top of the mirror etc. And also a lot of mould/mildew around the bath and taps, which when wiped, a lot came off easily. We decided that we were going to report the issues to the staff in the morning. We sadly had very little sleep as the room above us seems to have had very squeaky floors and the occupants were up late and arose early. Before we ever leave a hotel, we always ***** the bed and sheets and put them into the bath for the cleaning staff. This is when we found old blood stains on the quilt and questionable yellow stains on the mattress and mattress protector. I had to come to the conclusion that the cleaning staff are clearly not cleaning to a high enough standard and are rushing through everything. It’s a shame as we cannot warrant staying here again and will look for elsewhere in future. The redeeming factor was the staff who seemed very pleasant and friendly. Although the only staff we did see were inside the pub on arrival and on exit.
