Hotel berhampiran Museum of the Battle of Wagram 1809, Deutsch-Wagram

I was very disappointed when I arrived at the desk (after finally finding the hotel) that our room did not have a bath. On *********** they have images of a bath/shower and also states “bathroom with bath or shower” for the double room that we booked. I found this to be very misleading and asked the reception if we could change the room to one with a bath. They said there are only 3 (if I remember correctly) rooms with baths and that they were occupied. I was so disappointed because I specifically searched for hotels that had a bath when booking. They didn’t offer us any consolation, so we took the room we were given. To be fair it was lovely and the bed was comfortable and I loved the LED lights but I would not stay here again. Travelling over 30mins into the centre and back every day was exhausting and we couldn’t just drop in whenever we wanted. Now it was our own fault that we booked somewhere so far away, but for something that wasn’t even offering what we wanted the most, it was definitely not worth it. The breakfast was expensive but it was delicious! Honestly, I still think about this trip and how this slightly tainted the experience so that’s why I’m leaving this review 😊

We stayed here more than 2 weeks visiting our family, found that we made an excellent choice for accommodation. Though the Greenling'M' room is more expansive, it has a very large balcony where picnic is possible. View from the balcony towards the artificial lake is good, especially at dawn and before dark. There are a few trees in the balcony where birds keep visiting (mostly tits). The Hofer supermarket is just 5 min away and Spar is 10 min. The terminal station of U2 line at Seestadt is close by with a Ströck Cafe providing very good bread and croissants. Seestadt is a quite area, with only a few restaurants and limited choices. Portobello has very good pizzas, and Leo has good ice cream. The Metro ride to Vienna Centre is about 30-40 min, service frequency depends on time of the day. The other terminal station of U2 line is now Shottentor (not Karlplatz, until Sept 2024), so if change of line is required time required will be longer. As this is an apartment there is no service, except removal of garbage (to be put outside the door before 11 am each day). Check in and check out are both automatic by getting and dropping keycards at boxes. We needed to request for towel change (then provided to us free of charge twice, otherwise 8 Euro per change) for our long stay, but that is just a small point. There are two paid washing machines in the basement use of which requires the app ”WeWash” (but we have not tried). There is a Friday Market and a Saturday Street Feast every week in the area. The Friday Market has a stall selling very fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

Zimmer 301 war NICHT bezugsfertig!!! Das Zimmer war noch immer so, wie es der Vormieter hinterlassen hatte. Weder waren die Betten frisch überzogen, die Handtücher ausgetauscht noch der Müll weggeräumt. Es war weder die Rezeption (laut InfoOrdner am Zimmer sollte die Rezeption bis 22 Uhr besetzt sein) noch eine Hotel Hotline verfügbar bzw. erreichbar. Wir riefen daher den Sicherheitsdienst an. Diese nahm mit dem Bereitschaftsdienst des Hotels Kontakt auf und es wurde uns ein Ersatzzimmer zugesagt. Allerdings mussten wir über 1 Stunde auf den Sicherheitsdienst-Mitarbeiter warten. Das Ersatzzimmer war dann allerdings nur ein Zwei-Bett-Zimmer!!!. Ein passendes Zimmer war nicht frei!!! Die beiden angebotenen Doppelbettzimmer waren für uns wegen der Kinder keine Option. Mein Gatte und ich verbrachten die Nacht mit unseren beiden Enkeln im Dreibettzimmer 201. Tochter und Schwiegersohn bezogen das Ersatzzimmer 202. Im Dreibettzimmer waren allerdings nur 3 Decken vorhanden, was natürlich äußerst unangenehm und kalt war. Der Sicherheitsdienst-Mitarbeiter wurde beauftragt uns mitzuteilen, dass wir die gesamten Rechnungsbetrag rückerstattet bekommen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Vor der Abreise am Sonntag Vormittag wollte ich die Angelegenheit mit der Rezeption besprechen. Es wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass diese erst ab 12 Uhr besetzt sei. Es war auch niemand telefonisch erreichbar. Das Zimmer muss aber bis 11 Uhr frei sein. Es gibt keinen Briefkasten zur Rückgabe der Schlüssel bzw. für Nachrichten. Diese Angelegenheit war für uns und die Kinder äußerst ärgerlich und unangenehm und hat uns den Aufenthalt in Wien vermiest. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit, dass es für Notfälle keinen Ansprechpartner vom Hotel gibt. Zumal der Sicherheitsdienst sehr wohl wusste, dass es einen Bereitschaftsdienst des Hotels gibt und wie er diesen erreichen kann. Der Mitarbeiter des Sicherheitsdienstes vor Ort war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. ZU einer Rückerstattung ist es bis DATO nicht gekommen nicht einmal der Hoteldirektor hat sich zurückgemeldet Also Billig aber nicht zu Empfehlen F

A modern hotel with nice rooms, this hotel is ideal if you don’t want to stay in the tourist area of the city. However, central Vienna is very reachable via the U1 underground or an Uber! The lack of a restaurant and in room tea/coffee were the only real negatives. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were good. Would definitely stay here again!

酒店位置很好，樓下就有Spar超市，出門就是公交站和地鐵站，酒店對面就有商場。酒店的環境也很不錯，房間裏有小廚房，餐具和廚具都配好了，還有小冰箱和微波爐。衣櫃裏有熨斗可以熨衣服。如果訂的房間不包含早餐，想吃酒店早餐的，費用是19歐一人。

Esperienza eccellente in coppia. Prenotato 4 notti presso questo Hotel per me e la mia ragazza, e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Punti a favore: - Camere nuove, pulite, spaziose (noi avevamo la standard e si stava benissimo), controllo temperatura direttamente dall'interno, condizionatore efficentissimo ed intuitivo, doccia ampia, minibar, cassaforte e tablet da cui controllare la TV e altre funzioni. - Posizione strategica a dir poco, davanti la fermata della Metro U1 che arriva in centro in 15 Min, bus e tram. - Tranquillità. Camere insonorizzate perfettamente, non abbiamo sentito un minimo rumore né dall'esterno, né dal corridoio, né dalle altre camere, aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo avendo il sonno leggero. - Palestra, seppur piccola, essenziale ed adatta ad un breve workout per chi non volesse priv****ne anche in vacanza. - Refill acqua infinito alle fontanelle in reception, anche se a detta dello staff l'acqua dei rubinetti di Vienna è potabile. Lati negativi: Anche se la nostra esperienza resta da 5 stelle, credo sia giusto sottolineare alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere questo hotel impeccabile. - Colazione: 21€ a testa è una follia, non so cosa offrissero ma a quelle cifre nemmeno mangiando all'Hotel Sacher in centro. - Ascensori: utilizzabili solamente scannerizzando la tessere della propria camera, metodo sicuramente intelligente per evitare intrusi nell'hotel, ma a volte scomodo e malfunzionante, e in generale gli ascensori funzionano un po' macchinosamente. - Mancanza di un armadio in camera di qualche cassetto, seppure abbiamo apprezzato molto quella sorta di appendiabiti a cielo aperto all'ingresso. - Staff pulizie scortese al checkout: nonostante alla reception ci avessero detto che il checkout fosse possibile fino alle 12, già dalle 9 una signora delle pulizie è venuta a bussarci, ripetendo poi verso le 10, anche dopo averle detto che eravamo in fase di uscita e avremmo liberato la stanza per tempo. - Connessione alla TV: nonostante avessimo seguito la guida per connettere il telefono alla TV tramite Miracast, non ci ha funzionato nulla, abbiamo riprovato più volte ma niente, avremmo potuto domandare in reception ma alla fine non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.
