When we arrived at the hotel it was small but clean hotel, we were on a half board basis the first evening meal was a bbq but was only sausage and chicken with nothing else available my wife is vegetarian, next morning we went down for breakfast around 8am very minimal choice in hot plates which had no heat underneath them so the food was very cold and this was the case for the other 7 days and in the evening we were served one choice of sometimes a soup then one choice of main course and a tiny piece of sponge for dessert ( the idea of half board is that they provide a buffet choice of hot and cold starters, main courses, vegetables, salad, bread and desserts if you went 15 minutes after they started everything was cold, The staff at the hotel are very young with hardly and training or experience as for example they allowed children to swim in the pool before the opening times and then run all through the hotel soaking wet and sitting all over the furniture and not saying a word, As regards to the senior management or CEO I contacted him to say when our flight arrived and the contact at the airport said that the didn't know if we were coming as the hotel hadn't been informed but I had WhatsApp evidence. We were meant to stay 8 nights at the hotel but due to an early morning flight we had to stay only 7 nights so I spoke to the CEO before leaving uk and he confirmed that we could stay in there sister hotel in Male on the same board basis and price, 3 days before we were due to leave the hotel the receptionist said that I had no booking at there hotel in male and I even shown her the confirmation from the Ceo We had to wait until the evening before we left for them to confirm this and then we left to travel to Male and the disaster continues when we arrived at the airport we went to the desk for the transfer to the hotel only to be told they knew nothing about us after showing them the conversation between me and the ceo finally we got picked up at The airport 1 hour later, then we arrived at the sister hotel and they said we didn't have a booking, so after about 45 mins of waiting we got shown to our room the hotel was like a 1940s new York dodgy apartment we came down to have something to eat only to be told that we where not on a half board basis after complaining to both hotels and the ceo and showing the the conversation between us showing on what he had agreed we ate. The next morning we arranged a transfer to the airport the night porter was fast asleep when I came down and asked about the transfer he said I need to book it for you 15 minutes later we left for the airport. The senior management of the hotel don't care about there guests and everything is a battle. Dhangethi is a lovely island and everyone is so friendly and helpful and it's so safe we had an amazing time apart from the hotels
