We would strongly recommend this delightful, friendly hotel. It is located very near the beach and very near La Grande Rue – perfect for shopping at Dieppe’s Saturday morning. A short walk of 100 metres takes you right into the shopping centre – or the market if it is a Saturday morning. Another short walk of about 200 metres takes you to the beach. We appreciated the friendly welcome, the polite and obliging staff, the handy location both for shopping (e.g. the market) and the beach, La Salle Panoramique for breakfast or for reading, the copious breakfast every morning, the convenient parking at the hotel or near the hotel, the comfort of our bedroom, the number of channels on the TV, (including BBC News), the well-designed shower, the rooftop view and the readiness of the staff to give handy tips as to what to see or do in and around Dieppe. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, interested in what we were doing and ready to give advice as to what to see and do. We also appreciated the availability of a coffee/drinks machine at all hours and the "jeton" system for acquiring drinks; the availability of downstairs toilets if we were just passing the hotel and needed the toilet; the daily cleaning of our room and the ecological system for replacing towels etc. The TV was useful for catching up with British news. In our room we appreciated the spaciousness, and the comfortable, wide double bed, easy-to use shower and separate toilet, TV, hair-drier etc. The room was cleaned daily and we could leave valuables in an easy-to-use safe. For bed and breakfast, the price compared favourably with English hotels and every morning we enjoyed the large range of choice at breakfast e.g. cereals, cold meat and cheese, fruit juices, bottomless coffee etc. We ate breakfast in a large room on the first floor with a panoramic view over the sea. We also enjoyed visiting Dieppe's Grande Rue, the market, St. Jacques and St. Rémy (where we attended an organ recital).
