Ulasan Donghae Hotel Story Motel

I actually chose this hotel due to its proximity to both ferry terminal and the train station. Besides, it takes less than 10 minutes to get to incredible Chuam beach by taxi. So, when I arrived at the hotel, they surprisingly upgraded my standard room to a deluxe one with a jacuzzi. The room was huge, clean, but a bit dark to my liking and also there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Fortunately, when I opened the window the smell was gone. The hotel is very quiet, I felt like I was there alone even if I saw some people checking in. All in all, I enjoyed my stay. Everything I needed was just nearby, the guy at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful, and I did appreciate that he upgraded my room. What a nice little thing that cheered me up after a long ferry trip! There are also many cafes and restos in that area. You can walk around and explore these on foot.

Will be better If you check your bed sheets right after your checking in. I read so many good feedbacks at the Korean website... But now I have checked it again... These feedbacks were made one year ago. So, I did not espect any unusual situations and only after having a dinner and taking a shower I removed the blanked... There was a hair and huge spots... So, at midnight I sent a photo and typed a message to the person, with whome I talked during my checking in... After that I called to the Hotel common number and the lady asked me 2 times which country citizen I was (all phone talkes were recordered) ... It was unusual ... I've heard her voice behind the door of my room, so... I was sure that the bed sheets will be changed or checked... But nobody came and I recieved only apologies by phone message for not being able to change my room. Also young man said that it was my hair on the bed and that he cleaned the room before my checking in... 😅 So, last night I had to sleep in my upper clothes😬. Lacation is really good. Really good that each number has its own parking place. But for the next my visit I will choose another Hotel.

The bathroom was clean, as if it had been recently remodeled, and the price-to-performance ratio seemed good.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt this accommodation desperately needed improvement, so I'm leaving one. I booked this accommodation last night after my parents and I left for Donghae. Given the hasty nature of the booking, I was able to overlook the other issues, but the toilet issue was simply unacceptable... The water pressure in the toilet was so weak that even a single sheet of toilet paper would clog it. I ended up having to unclog it several times. The inability to handle even basic hygiene needs without inconvenience is a critical issue for any accommodation. Since this is a place where guests pay to stay, I believe a minimum level of hygiene and facility maintenance should be maintained. I tried to speak directly with the manager, but he wasn't at the counter when I checked out, so I'm leaving this review here. I stayed in room 308. While I won't be returning, I hope this review will help them improve the accommodation and facilities.

After the cancellation period passed, I requested a cancellation because I had to cancel, but I was not able to receive a refund.

The location is not bad and the overall interior is clean, but the cleanliness is a bit lacking, with spiderwebs on the ceiling, mold in the bathroom, and foreign substances on the floor.

I came here just to sleep, but it smelled like cigarettes in the bathroom, so it was hard ㅠㅠㅠ

It's clean. It's good value for money.

The hotel is a drive-in type, so it’s convenient. You have to carry your bag from the parking lot to the second floor. The rooms are clean and spacious, and since Donghae Station is nearby, there are quite a few restaurants. I had a good night.

列車の旅で、翌朝6時08発の列車に乗るため、駅から歩いて5分で行ける、駅からのアクセスの良い、このホテルを利用しました。 車ごと入るスタイルのモーテルなのに、よくわからないまま、歩いてチェックインしました。ホテルの方は、言葉の分からない日本人客に、翻訳機を使って、丁寧に対応してくれました。とてもうれしかったです。ありがとうございました。 部屋の鍵の閉め方と開け方が、よくわからなくて、少し苦労しました。 アメニティーは豊富で、お水が冷蔵庫に２本も入っていました。コンビニで２本買って行ったことを、後悔しました。サービスが良いモーテルです。 部屋のシャワーの水圧も充分で、バスタブもあるので、シャワーだけの他のビジネスホテルよりも快適でした。ただ、トイレまで足下が濡れてしまうのは、海外ホテルでよくある事なので、しょうがないです。 テレビは超巨大で、209チャンネルでNHKWP、144チャンネルでチャンネルJで、孤独のグルメが視れましたので、日本人でも退屈しませんでした。 部屋のクーラーは、とても良く効きます。 朝6時にチェックアウトしました。無人で呼び鈴をを押しても、誰も来なかったので、そのまま出発させていただきました。 大変良い滞在でした。
