Dorchester

No parking- had to lug bags from car park across the road. Arrived and check in slow and painful. Went to room and dirty, bits all over the carpet, complained, I was moved to another room. The staff member came with me and surprise surprise the same issue. They are doing renovations- how about maintaining and keeping current rooms clean! Paint work heavily marked, sofa stained - generally mucky and I paid £167 room only!

Was clean and practical. No onsite parking as advertised, due to renovations. Location is perfectly positioned opposite the train station and restaurants.

Very poor, not a usual Premier Inn Experience. Car park not in use due to building work, when we booked there was no mention of this however I understand they have now updated the website, probably due to the number of complaints. Stairwell was dusty and dirty due to building work. No aircon or heating in the room due to work taking place. Went to get a drink at the bar at approximately 9pm but there were no staff there. Waited a few minutes but nobody came. No other customers in the bar. Went to reception to enquire if bar was open but there were no staff there either so we gave up. Bed was comfortable but room was stuffy and warm.

Great location, right near restaurants, the fountain, a park and museums. The breakfast was brilliant with a good knowledge of allergies. The rooms were as you expect from a Premier Inn with everything you need with plenty of space. The staff were so friendly and helpful, on our departure a staff member even gave our boys a bag of sweets for their politeness at breakfast. There is no parking here but there are bays that you can park in for 20 mins and a pay and display car park a few minutes walk away.

The Hotel meets all expectations without extravaganzas. Well equiped and with all the needs met. Bed was too soft for my like! But we had a great experience! I will recommend it!!

Decided to try the breakfast while visiting Dorchester on a day trip. So glad we did, the waitress (Jessie??) and chef, Ioana were lovely. The cooked breakfast was perfectly cooked and we really enjoyed it. We will definitely eat there again next time we are in the area.

In desperate need of a refurbishment. The room was clean but shabby. Lots of little things that just add up to disappointment. The televisions don’t work properly with constant pressing of remote control buttons to get it to work. The Ultimate Wi-Fi is patchy and kept kicking me out. The lift is problematic when using your key card to confirm that you are a resident. Self check in stations never work. The sheets don’t fit the bed and the spare pillows come in a sealed bag, however our bag was not sealed and the pillow case had a blood spot on it so suspect that the pillows were used by the previous occupants. Staff also bring their family into the restaurant to sit around in the evenings.

Love this Premier Inn, great location and friendly staff, I took advantage of the early in for £10, greeted with a smile, room was clean and quirt, the hole stay was perfect, no issues and a quirt night. I ate in the restaurant in the evening, food was quite good, we had the spicy chicken burger and the prawn cocktail for starters, would recommend them both.

Not great but for the price I guess you can’t complain , toilet wasn’t that clean , the carpet in our room definitely hadn’t been hoovered in a while as was thick with hair and fluff etc , staff are SUPER friendly and very kind/helpful, the breakfast was good in the morning
