Hotel sito nel cuore di Arona, proprio a ridosso del Lago Maggiore. Possibilità di parcheggio in strada, a pagamento. Struttura un poco datata ma la camera in cui ho soggiornato era stata ben ristrutturata fatta eccezione, purtroppo, del bagno rimasto agli anni '70. La camera, delle giuste dimensioni, era comoda e molto pratica, inoltre aveva un piccolo balconcino vista lago davvero speciale! Personale cortese e molto disponibile, buona la colazione. Consigliato!

The breakfast experience makes for a bad start to the day. One coffee machine which is also the only source of hot water, so every morning every guest, queue's for approximately 20 minutes just to get a cup of tea or coffee. One morning one of the staff asked people in the queue if they were having tea as she could get them a tea pot of hot water for their table, which of course makes sense and was really appreciated by everyone in the queue, however this morning when I asked one of the staff could I have a pot of hot water she gave me an unhappy stare, and left only to return with an empty pot. I was confused, which was apparent, at which point she realised what I had asked for, and said out loud in Italian ”oh she expects me to fill it FOR her”, apparently judging me for not wanting to join the 20 minute morning misery line. She didn't realise of course, that my Italian partner was standing right beside me, and understood what she had said (in front of all the other guests). He immediately complained to one of the other ladies, who is lovely, and she was very kind and got some hot water from the kitchen. It was so uncomfortable however and I was embarrassed. If my partner hadn't been there I would have been the butt of this woman's joke, all for asking for just one small thing. Advice for management: COVID has clearly put things under pressure for the team, which is nobody's fault. If you source a second hot water dispenser you will cut the morning queue down quite quickly and all the guests will thank you for it. Because the rooms are a bit dated, bed's uncomfortable, and aircon extremely loud, the one thing that needs to be exceptional is service. I was really embarrassed by my experience this morning. My most basic expectation from a hotel is to be able to easily access a cup of tea or coffee in the morning, and I don't expect someone to try and humiliate me with my morning cup of tea

The hotel is located off a divided road which isn't illuminated so slow down as it's easy to miss the entrance. Staff are accommodating and kind but they did close down for the night so check with them if you're going to be late. You absolutely need a car to get to this hotel. Our room was a triple room and very spacious. We could drive up and park outside hence the motel feel and it was very convenient having the car outside. The room had a strong smell which was a bit mouldy--I couldn't identify the smell. After being in the room awhile, we couldn't smell it anymore. Everything was clean though.The room was so warm that we had to shut off the heat and open the window. The water in the shower wasn't hot enough for my other half although it was fine by me and the floors are very slippery in the bathroom when wet.. You can hear the train going by every hour or so and the people upstairs but you couldn't hear the cars from the road. The train only went by once in the middle of the night. And the reason I know this is...my biggest bone of contention...the rock hard beds and the flat pillows. We came in late so we didn't call to ask for extra pillows thinking that the staff had left for the night so I slept with towels under my pillow but it was a difficult sleep for how hard the bed was. We definitely asked for them on the second night as it felt as though my neck and shoulders were going to break. Breakfast was very good; they had the usual cereals, fancy juices, baked goods, plus hot foods like eggs, bacon, hotdogs, etc. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near Malpensa the night before and the B&B Hotel's breakfast far exceeded it both in quality and variety. There's nothing around the area to walk to so factor in the cost of breakfast if you want it. The breakfast room was accessible from the interior door of our room and there was a lift and stairs so it was accessible for all. I would stay again but they definitely need to invest in mattress toppers and extra pillows for this old lady.

I didn’t stay here but sought the assistance of the front desk the other night when caught out by a storm. The receptionist was kind in getting a taxi sorted for us and providing a great welcome. Well done Atlantic.

Hotel immerso nel verde, a due passi dal Lago di Comabbio, camere spaziose e in gran parte rinnovate, alcune hanno una mobilia datata ma non inficia sicuramente sulla qualità del soggiorno. Personale disponibilissimo e gentilissimo. Ho soggiornato 13 giorni per lavoro, l'hotel è in un oasi di pace. La colazione a buffet disponibile dalle 5.30 sempre ben fornita, il ristorante annesso all'albergo vi permetterà di mangiare con un giusto rapporto qualità prezzo. Le camere sono molto grandi e collegate anche dall'esterno dove è presente anche un posto auto privato riservato ad ogni camera. Personale simpaticissimo e disponibilissimo, pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta dei clienti. Complimenti a Roberto, il proprietario a tutto il personale, in particolar modo Antonella che con la sua vivacità rallegrare ogni vostra colazione. Unici invece gli aperitivi preparati da Arlene!!! Complimenti veramente a tutti, sarete il mio punto di riferimento nei futuri viaggi al nord.

My wife and I discovered this wonderful place after traveling everywhere in Europe for the last 40 years. As a travel writer I have confidently shared our discovery of this wonderful place with many friends and readers. From the moment you arrive you receive a warm greeted by the most professional and caring staff. Everyone is attentive and truly want to make your stay a good one. When we arrived mid day we went to the pool for a wonderful lunch. Near us was a table with an attractive family, of 3 generations and their family dog, They were the family who owns and manages the property , ”eating their own cooking” as we say, and enjoying the quiet loveliness of their own property. There are 3 choices of accommodations here, each wonderful and meeting special preferences. We stayed in the Palazzo and loved it, but the Castello/Castle and its garden and views are outstanding. The rooms in the beautifully renovated stables with large grass common area are very accommodating, especially for families with children. The whole property is a destination in itself with so many things to see. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, all in totally different environments, and it all was superb. In closing, we all know that the staff makes all the difference wherever we stay. Again, the staff, and owners, could not be more welcoming, joyful and professional. Everything was perfect for me. Before getting to Milano, I've been to Nordic countries which cost more, this hotel took a very reasonable price for me. And the staffs were pretty kind. I still remember one staff kindly asked me 'coffee or cappuccino?' And she explained that they bake almost of the bread. And the facilities could be better. They have a basement parking lot. I highly recommend this hotel and I'll be back whenever I come back to Milano.

Ho trascorso alcuni giorni in questo hotel con la mia famiglia, restando subito colpita dalla bellezza dell’ambiente, per gli ampi spazi molto curati sia all’esterno che all’interno: ci ha accolto un giardino con un prato verde e rigogliosi alberi fioriti, e ci è venuto incontro personale gentilissimo che ci ha portato i bagagli in camera e ci ha indicato il parcheggio dell’hotel. All’interno, bei salotti arredati con eleganza e guarniti con piante e fiori freschi, e una sala da pranzo piena di luce grazie alle pareti tutte a vetro, affacciate sul giardino. All’ultimo piano, una grande terrazza da cui si gode la splendida vista del lago e delle sue isole. Sul dietro c’è una bella piscina che in primavera non è ancora fruibile ma che d’estate sicuramente offre un piacevole refrigerio. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati e abbiamo trovato disponibilità anche da parte del personale di sala (abbiamo usufruito del trattamento di mezza pensione) pronto a venire incontro alle esigenze dei miei nipotini di uno e cinque anni. La posizione dell’hotel è ottima, vicina al centro e al lungolago, e in particolare a due passi dalla partenza dei traghetti per le isole. Insomma, consigliatissimo!!!!
