房間特別安靜（可能因為旅遊淡季），酒店的餐飲如早餐特別豐盛，窗外景色就是海灣。出行附近就有馬恩島博物館步行便利，島上公交需要自己查，總體而言都還挺好的。下次來還住！

非常不錯的酒店，風景漂亮，前天熱情幽默，各處都十分乾淨，離從機場過來的公交也近，非常推薦！

One night stay for business and we booked a "Business suite". It wasn't a suite - it was a room. There were two (pretty small) chairs and a desk. No lounging space. The shower room was immaculate but also pretty small - long and thin - but it did have a window. And the shower itself was good. The lit, magnifying mirror on the wall had hinges so loose that it would only point at the ceiling unless being held - so only one hand available for makeup - and it was mounted so high, and so far back that it was little use to me (at 5'7") but perfectly placed for my 6'4" husband! At the back of the building and all the windows were obscured glass so no view at all. The bed was a five foot double and very comfortable; we slept very well until just after 5am when there was a huge clattering in the alley outside. A good sized fan was thoughtfully positioned in front of one window, giving a nice, cool breeze across the bed on what was a hot, humid night. The bedside lights protrude from the wall right at pillow level and reaching the bedside table was a bit of a mission since they are dinnerplate sized and deep. But the bedside table had a very neat power supply arrangement with two 3-pin plugs and two USB points on the side, so plenty of charging capacity for tech. A hairdryer was provided but I couldn't find anywhere to sit and dry my hair with a mirror - iPad to the rescue; what did we do before Apple? There was a good full-length mirror inside one of the wardrobe doors, positioned so that you could stand far enough back to get a good viewing before setting forth. All-in-all it was good but not great. As everyone has said, the breakfast was very, very good.

We stayed here for five nights with a Great Rail Journeys group trip to the Isle of Man. We upgraded to a Business Club Promenade room in our initial booking. Our room was spacious and the main room area was well laid out with a nice seating area in the bay window overlooking the promenade and sea. There was good storage plus a kettle, nespresso machine, fridge and a selection of hot drinks, still and sparkling water (in glass bottles) and biscuits, which were replenished daily. The fridge wasn’t working to start with but we reported it and it was sorted out. Dressing gowns and slippers were provided. There was a safe, iron and ironing board. The lighting was very good! The bed was ok once you got used to the thick memory foam only mattress and soft pillows - we found a spare pillow in the wardrobe which helped my husband. Being memory foam, the mattress was quite warm to sleep on. The bathroom was enormous with a separate bath, large walk-in shower (which was very good indeed) and twin sinks. It did look a bit tired, especially compared with the main part of the room. Two bathroom ******* : the single non-heated towel rail was too small for the towels so you had no choice but to put them over the bath to dry, which then meant they inevitably got changed - not good. Also the provided toiletries were in tiny single use plastic bottles which really isn’t acceptable now. Two room *******: the room was very hot and stuffy most of the time we were there, so we had to have the windows open and fan on all night. The windows opened too little to have much cooling effect because the top parts didn’t open and the bottoms were of course on limiters. The windows being open meant that the room was very noisy, as the promenade road seems to be one of the main roads in Douglas. But even on the last night, with windows shut due to a storm, it turned out still to be noisy. Our holiday was half board so we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel every day. Breakfasts were very good with a decent range of options, cold as a buffet and hot plus hot drinks as waited service. Apparently the scrambled eggs were not good at all, but the poached were nice and the smashed avocado on toast with egg was excellent! Dinners were good and well varied over our five day trip, but they weren’t exceptional. The hotel is only a very short walk from the sea terminal, bus station and main shopping street. There is a bus stop about a minute’s walk away which takes you to the Manx Electric Railway station in a few minutes; the steam railway station is about 10 minutes’ walk away. Would I stay here again? Yes, but I would ask for a room at the back!

This hotel is 4 star and in on the sea within a few hundred yards of the ferry terminal. The property is all that one could want with plenty of sitting areas and a bar. The furnishing and equipment are superb as is the decoration. We went as part of an organised group and to that we are - in some ways - outside our control. The staff were - without exception - wonderful. Our room was a double but was a bit cramped. There were two chairs but one had to be precisely positioned so as to be able to get into the wardrobe! Coffee and tea provided with a kettle and topped up each day. It was hot weather and a fan was available; we slept under bath towels! Sleeping under duvet would have been impossible. The curtains did not really keep the light out; the seagulls like the area and call all night. Breakfast was fine with part buffet and freshly cooked to order and served by the staff. As said we were part of a group and the evening dining was from a limited menu. All the other members of the group thought the food - both variety and quality - was good. We are vegetarians and may be thought of as a nuisance to caterers. When the others had "thing and two vegetables" we were given a large bowl of pasta with sauce or risotto.

The hotel is walking distance to the ferry. Classic double rooms are quite small, but nice (upgrade if you can), and they were really well cleaned every day. Staff were really friendly and very helpful (Michelle and Rob especially). Great choice for Breakfast generally. Cooked breakfast choice was really good too, but slow to arrive and bacon not crispy in the slightest! Meals in the evening were okay, great choice each evening but meat not good quality/well cooked. We had requested two rooms next to each other as I was travelling with elderly relative. We had to pay extra £460 for rooms (single supplement with Great Rail Journeys), but despite requesting this when we booked and emailing the hotel several times in advance, this request was ignored (rooms were on same corridor..). We were offered new rooms by the lifts the next day, but declined as who wants a room opposite/next to the lift. Overall hotel was lovely and recommended.

Best hotel in Douglas and we have been to a few definitely be back staff great food great room great and service great anybody complaining about this hotel must be really hard to please this hotel is 5 star the food is excellent and breakfast is excellent the rooms are service twice a day we were on a luxury pack with Seaview worth every penny

Plus side , well located, staff nice at breakfast, Down side , sea view room , could hear all the traffic and people passing by late at night , double glazed windows didn’t shut out any noise..bed is very low and mattress didn’t suit us at all , told us is was a tempur mattress , like I say, didn’t suit us ,they did provide a topper but it made little difference . Bathroom although looks nice , provided no where to put your own toiletries , ended up putting my toiletry bag on the floor, dont even think bathroom floor had been cleaned , I could see pee sprinkles around the toilet area , stupid push taps gave you a short burst of water , not long enough to even wash your hands. Housekeeping trying to enter room at 9.20 am to clean is rather early, neither of us were dressed by then , no parking available for residents . Windows need a clean

Lunch at Coast for aunts 82nd birthday Staff were so attentive, nothing too much trouble We brought our own cup Cakes and candles just for Something to sing to, staff made a special effort to ensure she enjoyed her lunch celebrations Food was amazing, so tasty and well Presented - all had a roast dinner, again excellent Excellent place to eat, hope to stay here one day too

Booked an overnight stay for myself as I was joining family and friends for an celebration lunch in Coast and afterwards party with cocktails. The booking in process was very easy and the staff were more than helpful . The room was clean and spacious with a luxurious bathroom . It had all the facilities required including a large flat screen tv . There was noise overnight from the street but that’s what you would expect in town . The only problem I had was in the morning I had booked a taxi which I nearly missed as the signage for the lift is very poor luckily I could ask the maid who was on the third floor I would never have found it without her as it was around a corner and down some stairs .

After several attempts my wife finally talked me into a night at the Claremont. What a wonderful experience! We stayed in one of the business club rooms on a DB&B basis. The room was lovely. Staff from reception through to the bar and the waiting staff were all exceptional, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We will definitely be staying again.
