Hotel berhampiran Najadenbrunnen I und II, Dresden

My wife and I have just departed the Taschenbergpalais after a stay of 5 nights. We reside in the U.K. and the hotel is one that we have stayed in many times in the past 20 years and so it is one we know well and love. We have to say that the remodelling and redesign is an absolute success. All the work has not been completed yet but throughout our stay, we were never disturbed at all by any rebuilding work. We stayed in a Palais View room overlooking the Zwinger Palace and it was quite superb with its blue panelled walls and brilliant new bathroom. The newly designed corridors and public rooms are breathtaking. However,what hasn't changed from the old Taschenbergpalais is the kindness and professionalism of all its staff One last word about the breakfast on offer here. It is superb with choices of egg dishes, fruit,breads,jams,marmalades,cold meats fish etc. If you leave here in the morning hungry, you haven't tried hard enough ! So,welcome back,the new Taschenbergpalais. The Grande Dame of Dresden is back and better than ever

來德累斯頓，選擇入住Holiday Inn原因有以下： 1）服務：作為IHG旗下酒店，服務水準穩定。 checkin時前台會提前告知目前客户到店情況，耐心詢問客户對房間的需求，若提前到酒店會讓客户加入IHG會員享受提前入住。 每天早上去餐廳吃飯能看到不同的服務員禮貌地但不讓我尷尬地打招呼； 走廊裏碰到house keeping也會禮貌地打招呼。 2）衞生：每日打掃房間、更換浴巾、續上新的茶包和咖啡。 餐廳客人吃完後不久，服務員就將餐桌收拾得乾乾淨淨，地上沒有麪包碎，自助餐桌上也擦得乾乾淨淨沒有油漬醬油漬茶漬。 3）設施：酒店內温暖如春，房間內也有暖氣和空調。房內洗手間很大，花灑水壓很舒服，水温也很舒服。在外一天回來，能洗個熱水澡真的太舒服啦～ 4）環境：酒店坐落於老城區外的一條小街上，晚上很安靜。步行至茨温格宮3分鐘，步行至聖母大教堂10分鐘。酒店100米不到有一家川菜館，偏成都口味（麻），很好吃喔！

Pros: -Rooms are all quiet and ours overlooked a small park outside. -Nice cocktail bar and breakfast in lobby offered if you just want to relax. -Staff was very kind and attentive. Housekeeping was very pleasant and did a great job in the facility! -Short walk to central Dresden for a great price and newer hotel. Cons: -No laundromat in building or very close by so we ended up washing some clothing in our sink. -Breakfast is a bit pricey by German standards for this market. Would recommend going down the street a few blocks to grab some danishes, yogurt and fruit at the Rewe supermarket and enjoy in their small eating area instead.

Ein sehr spartanisch, im Jugendherberge-Stil, ausgestattetes Zimmer. Im Hotel wird noch umgebaut. Baulärm war nicht zu hören. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Die Betten sind bequem, das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und sauber. Frühstück hatten wir nicht gebucht. Fazit: Als Zwischenübernachtung oder ein Trip nach Dresden geeignet, für einen kompletten Urlaub würde ich ein Hotel mit mehr Comfort vorziehen.

I love how they are very flexible and understanding with my situation. I was meant to go to Dresden for a vacation but the airline left my baggage and had to wait in my current destination (the one prior going to Dresden) for the luggage delivery hence messing up my itinerary that ended up me cancelling my entire Dresden trip. I appreciate they agreed to have my booking cancelled and fully refunded. Meant a lot and would definitely book Ibis hotels since they have my back when things get awry.

We stayed one night on our way to Poland and stopped by the Christmas markets. Found the hotel to not have any amenities except one free bottle of water, no coffee machine or tea sachets and the wifi connection was unreliable. Can imagine it would be a convenient stay for business if the wifi was improved.

This is an outstanding hotel. It is located across the street from the train station, but is incredibly quiet. The place is immaculate and the interior design is very well done. The hotel was remodeled in 2021 and it looks brand new. Staff was very attentive and fluent in English. The room was decent sized for a European hotel. We were able to leave our bags in the hotel after checking out so we could tour Dresden before taking a train out of town. It's one of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in recent years

Es ist ein tolles Hotel , der Service ist top. Die Hotel Crew ist freundlich . Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig und frisch. Die Zimmer sind groß und freundlich eingerichtet. Die Lage ist so das man die City auch fussläufig und ca 10 min erreichen kann. Wir konnten unser Auto in der Tiefgarage parken für 12 die Nacht , ich denke auf der Straße mit Parkschein wären wir teurer gekommen und es hätte nicht so sicher gestanden. Wir sind zufrieden und werden auf jedenfall wieder kommen . Danke an das Hotelteam !!!!!

Very nice atmosphere, very nice people at the reception. There is a lot of space in the rooms as well as in the corridors. Everything seemed to me clean and in a good condition. I really recommend this hostel - also as it is very nicely situated in the most interesting and vibrant part of Dresden. The online check-in option seemed to me a little bit buggy still but anyway it finally worked and might have saved some time at the reception. Be aware that if you pay at the reception you might need to pay in cash...

Der Hotelname ”premium” und die Kategorie ”4 Sterne” lassen ein Hotel im gehobenen Segment vermuten. Das war leider keineswegs so. Die Zimmer waren zwar in Ordnung und im mittleren Standardbereich. Der Fernseher war sehr klein, es gab keine Minibar, keinen Kühlschrank, nur zweckmäßiges Mobiliar, Zimmertür sogar noch mit Schlüssel. In der 4. und 5. Etage waren nur Raucherzimmer. Was für ein Anachronismus, dass so etwas heute überhaupt noch angeboten wird! Das ist kein gutes Zeichen für die Modernität eines Hotels, was auch an anderer Stelle deutlich wurde. Das Hotel ist sehr abgelegen, kostenlose Parkplätze am Hotel sind nur ganz wenige vorhanden und schnell belegt. Offenbar ist dieses Hotel bei Busreisegruppen sehr beliebt, mit einem Massenbetrieb ist das Hotel aber in allen Bereichen überfordert. Was die organisatorischen Abläufe anbelangt war dieses Hotel eine reine Katastrophe: Beim check in mussten wir über eine halbe Stunde in der Schlange stehen, gebuchte Zusatzleistungen wurden erst auf Nachfrage herausgegeben. Beim Frühstück wurden Time-Slots vergeben: man musste sich festlegen, ob man 07:30 - 08:30, 08:30 - 09:30 oder 09:30-10:30 Uhr frühstücken wollte. Obwohl wir uns an die festgelegten Zeiten hielten, mussten wir wieder über 30 Minuten in der Schlange stehen, bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Alles in allem: Dieses Hotel vermietet Zimmer, die weit über den Kapazitäten liegen, die das of**als wenig kompetente Personal und die sehr eingeschränkten Frühstücksmöglichkeiten verkraften können. Für uns ist dieses Hotel keine Empfehlung, wir werden nicht wiederkommen.
