퍼펙트한 위치 - 템플바에서 바로 강 건너 위치하여 어디든지 가기 편하고, 트램 정류장도 150mm이내에 있어 다니기 편했습니다. 템플바랑 떨어져있어 크게 시끄럽지 않았습니다.(물론 불금에는 새벽까지 시끄럽더군요) 직원 서비스에 만족하며 하우스키핑도 훌륭했습니다. 식사는 하지 않아 평가 불가합니다. 더블린의 다른 호텔도 마찬가지겠지만 건물이 오래되고 층수가 4층까지밖에 없습니다. 가장 아쉬운 점은 방음이 잘 안되는 것입니다.

This hotel is 5-star price-wise only. For example, when we arrived, we have been welcomed by the Customer Care Person, who explained to us who she is, but said nothing on how she can help us and definitely nothing about the construction on the 4th floor of the hotel. So, banging starts at 8:30, which presumes that everyone is up and about at that hour. Apparently, they were supposed to notify me about it via e-mail, but someone just forgot about it... If I knew there will be construction at the hotel, I would have never stayed here. I guess that's why I never got that email... The concierge reached out to us a while ago asking why we are staying at the hotel so long. We have written to him in a reasonable detail. No response. Zero follow-up. The concierge in general was great in instructing us how we can do things ourselves. Another example. We return to the hotel at 10 pm, and our ever-hungry teenagers would like to eat something. - We are sorry but all the restaurants close their kitchens at 9:30 pm, and there is no room service. - Can we have have at least some bread and butter? (And here, the staff at 5 or even 4-star hotel would respond ”Let me see what I can do.” But instead we heard:) - No. You need to take care of it by yourself. And, it is like this, pretty much with everything service-wise at this hotel. Only the staff of the first-floor café seemed to know what they are doing. It just looks like the place lacks direction from the management that is lost and confused. To add to the ”attractions” we could hear very clearly all the water noises coming from a room next door. We also had some trouble falling asleep as the guy next door snored like a hog in heat. I also think that having the permanently screwed through cracked dial to a heated towel rack is something that I would find at a 2-star hotel, and I still would be surprised... There was 6 of us in 3 rooms, and we stayed here for 6 nights. The impressions were all the same. It's the details that matter both in the customer service and the decor, and it is simply not a case here. At the end of our stay, the front desk staff has made a scene, because we wanted a detailed invoice. Thanks to that though we found out they have charged us additional numerous positions from the mini bar, which we did NOT use. So, please be careful they will try to cheat you.

The Merrion is a Hallmark of service and sheer quality. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly concierge and the news that our room had been upgraded to a junior suite. Lunch in the Cellar bar was an absolute joy and friendly, well clued in staff made the experience more special. The room was fabulous, with every comfort you could imagine. The bed was so comfortable, as were the couches.I cannot speak too highly about the service at this wonderful hotel.

No puedo más que recomendar este hotel en Dublín. Es un hotel centrico, cerca de la zona de Temple Bar. La habitación era super tranquila, muy bien equipada, limpia y con un excelente mantenimiento. Tenía plancha y tabla de planchar, además de secador bastante potente. El staff es genial, respetuoso y con ganas de ayudarte. Nosotros escogimos desayuno incluido. El staff del restaurante también es super amable y te hacen sentir muy bien. Había un pequeño bufet y luego podías pedir lo que quisieras sobre carta. Descubrimos las tostadas de aguacate con huevos poche hechas al momento, deliciosas. En cuanto al café para los más cafeteros el del restaurante no es muy bueno, pero la habitación tenia Nesspresso con capsulas de cortesía y podias hacerte uno. Viajo dos veces al año a Dublin y este hotel ha sido un descubrimiento. Volveré sin duda. Lo único que mejoraría es que la TV no disponía de canales en español o al menos no supe encontrarlos. En cambio sí habían canales alemanes o italianos o franceses. Gracias por hacernos pasar una agradable estancia y nos volveremos a ver

I was impresssed by the friendly welcome I was given at reception. Although I knew I couldn't book in till 2pm, I went early in the hope of them looking after my case. Not only do they do this for no extra charge but I was allowed into my room at 11.30am as it had been vacated. The hotel is in an excellent location for sightseeing as Christchurch and St Patrick's Cathedral are within 5 mins' walk and Dublin Castle and the Esther Beatty exhibition, which is not to be missed, is just round the corner. The room facilities were excellent with air conditioning unit, fridge, safe, coffee and tea making equipment, an iron and hairdryer and of course constant hot water for a shower. Downstairs there was a restaurant and bar available with music in the evening, which stopped at a reasonable time. Breakfast was also served in the morning, simple but enough. It was well worth the price charged simply because of its location.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room spacious. Sofa bed not so comfortable but for one night it was ok. Usually we get a room with a double and a regular single bed not a sofa bed. Location brilliant for us for meeting clients and car parking on site is brilliant. Bar staff very slow though.

Last time I stayed here ( about 6 years ago?) room was dirty so have not been back again until three weeks ago. Location is superb right at the edge of Temple bar along the River Liffey -downside its a party area so like most Hotels in this area dont plan to sleep until late as lots of noise from bars etc. Room was lovely with lots of nice touches -only big issues I had was in 12c Dublin coming from 32c Jakarta and central heating did not work-you have to call reception to get it switched on then it cuts off every hour and does not work again until you call reception-totally unacceptable for a 5 star Hotel . Ended calling them five times so not much sleep!! It was a Tuesday night so looked like one of the bars in the Hotel was shut-but lots outside anyhow. Did not have breakfast as last time I did was served-took ages and was cold-judging by recent reviews on tripadvisor looks like this still. Reception on check in and out would not win any prizes for their hospitality and were just ok-could learn from The Morrison across the river where I stayed a few nights earlier -genuine hospitality. Would I stay there again -NO -leave it to Bono and the locals -heat is a basic requirement as is hospitality-better Hotels for the same or less money to be had in Dublin City.

Dublin Citi Hotel was the perfect location to be able to get around the city & see the highlights. It was the most affordable we could find that still allowed us to be in the heart of the city. The room was smaller & older than the photos made it look which of course we’re all used to but it’s always a bit annoying. The room was comfortable however & clean. We were on the first floor overlooking the main street outside so noise was a factor but it really didn’t bother me much. We had very little interaction with the front desk staff but it was satisfactory.

We were given a bigger apartment than expected with 2 bedrooms. It was very nice, clean and comfortable and also very quiet at night. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom big enough with a wide shower. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was nice and comfy. We spent a lovely time here and we would definitely get back. I highly recommend it.
