Perfect hotel! If you’re coming to Dubrovnik for a short stay or a long stay this hotel is just so quaint. It’s located close to the port and not a far walk from old town. It’s incredibly new, boutique and spacey. The one thing that sets this hotel apart and will have me recommending them and booking again is there staff. They were SO ACCOMMODATING. Vanessa and Ivana really went above and beyond and are true gems of hospitality. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Room is big and clean. Breakfast is available at 15 Euros for a very decent spread. You can buy the Dubrovnik Pass from Hotel Porto just next door. Bus stop is almost right outside the hotel where you can get the bus pass and there are several buses going straight into Pile Old Town. Will definitely recommend!

We had a beautiful sea view room on 4th floor with nothing but the sea & islands to see when stepped out onto the balcony. Great location for watching the sunset from many locations either on the waterfront, roof top bar or our own balcony. Breakfast was the usual expected fare and whilst there we experienced very busy and very quiet times. Staff were always on hand to get anything you may need Location was perfect, a short 15 minute 2 euro bus ride to Old town - easy to navigate as both the hotel and Old town are 'end of the line' so can't get lost! Peaceful and pretty 15 walk to more bars and restaurants at Sunset Beach on way or hour walk around the land to the new port area. Housekeeping - cleaned and tidied the room each day, had to occasionally ask for more tea / coffee / milk although it wasn't a problem as we just got some in the morning at breakfast. Was a little early some days (for us) but we just put the do not disturb sign out and removed it when we went down for breakfast Was the perfect base for our week away and would love to return when we next go to Dubrovnik

This hotel's main fault was it had bad air conditioning. We called for help and ours worked fairly well but others in our group had issues with the heat in their rooms. We had a dinner buffet which was so so without many choices of food nor very tasty food but the dining area was pleasant. We had a nice view from our room which could see the sea in the distance. And the walk to the old town section of Dubrovnik was fairly easy down hill. There was a bus #4 to get back up the hill to the hotel from the nearby square where the Pile Gate access is located. You first buy a ticket at the little kiosk across from where the bus picks you up for just under 2 euros. The hotel's pool had delightfully cool water.

We stayed at the Royal Neptun for 1 week, it is 1 of 3 hotels forming a complex - Neptun is a 4 star and the other 2, 5 star and we could definitely see the difference. The highs, the location is outstanding, the walk along the promenade to the bars and restaurants, superb. The roof top bar and pool, amazing place to have drinks and watch the sunset, the pizzas in ‘on the rocks bar’ yummy, food and setting in Zoe was well worth the money, and the massage in the spa was one of the best I’ve had. So why only 3 stars: we checked in, other guests checking in were offered support with their luggage which we weren’t, maybe only for the 5 star, we didn’t mind but just noticeable. We walked into our room, first sight clean and tidy but then started to notice the red and white stains on the carpet, broken shower and safe, bathroom door sort of fixed. Breakfast was not a pleasant experience at all, it is not big enough for the size of the hotel, lots and lots of people walking around looking for tables, no management overseeing the flow of customers, staff moral appeared low, no one was smiling, would pass and not acknowledge you, when trying to attract attention it was like they looked through you and go in a different direction. Food ran out very quickly, all meats, cheeses etc were not covered and I could see the flies landing on it, the queue for omelettes was at least 10mins so big gathered all around where other guests were trying to eat. Pool area, as this is a family hotel was really surprised to see glass being used, 1 time were saw a glass break and a little boy cut his foot and second a wine glass broke and the stem ended up in the pool - no one was asked to leave whilst it was cleaned. This hotel has the making of amazing place to stay so hoping this feedback will help make the tweaks it’s needs.

The room was very clean and spacious, they don't seem to have double room, all are twin room. The location is slightly inconvenient, it is true that it is only 5 minutes walk away from the main bus station, it is quite far from old town, you either have to walk 45 minutes up and down the mountains to get to old town, alternatively, you will have to catch a 15 minutes bus ride, which comes every 15 minutes.

Amazing stay at Sun Gardens Dubrovnik, from check in with Adriana who brought us to view the facilities and club lounge area and arranged luggage promptly to our room which had magnificent balcony views overlooking the islands on the Adriatic Sea. The bedroom was spotless clean with ample space for 2 persons with complementary fruit , chocolates and a bottle of wine.Breakfast was excellent, there are also restaurants on site serving up a great range of local cuisine. Amenities at the hotel were very well managed and staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. On checkout our luggage was brought direct to our transport which was arranged by the very professional Ante at reception. Overall amazing experience and would recommend 10/10 .

Hotel as an excellent hotel, beautifully designed room with sea view, restaurant very very bad, waiter (Dujo) we saw his name on his shirt, not professional, poor service, breakfast as if you are in a much worse hotel, basic things are missing, not to mention everything for the rest, we ordered scrambled eggs, my wife was sick to her stomach the whole day after that breakfast, later we went after breakfast to the pool to have a drink, the waiter was not there, we went to the reception to ask if there was anyone to serve us, the answer was no, he will come in a few minutes, we waited for him for 10 minutes, we don't know where the staff is, the lunch prices are as if you are in Dubai, we came in 2 days for dinner, we had nothing to choose from the small selection of food, we took pasta and fish, the pasta was not tasty, it was not cooked well, it was hard and the fish is not fresh at all, the waiter didn't even bother to give a discount on a bar or a drink I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE, YOU WILL BE VERY DISSATISFIED!!

PPengguna TetamuThis was our first visit to Croatia thus the first time in Dubrovnik and we carefully researched prior to booking. This hotel appeared to have excellent reviews overall so seemed like a good choice. The reality however was not so, as the room we were given was extremely disappointing due to size and the view of a brick wall. Whilst we hadn’t booked a sea view I wasn’t quite prepared for this brick wall and let the staff know. Thankfully we were given a different room which had a much better view, so thank you as this did help immensely. The location of this hotel is by far its biggest selling point as it just a very short walk to the old town with all its attractions and the sky ride. It also has lovely views of the Adriatic Sea, Lockrum island and the old town. There was perfect service in the restaurant for breakfast, the buffet was limited but this was complimented by the menu to order breakfast dishes. For swimming there is a good sized indoor pool and there is access to the sea which was also a fabulous selling point. The sun-bed spaces were limited but the staff worked very hard to ensure all guests were welcomed and found sun-beds and umbrellas for shade from their storeroom. After the shock of the initial room with the view of the brick wall, the other not so great aspect was the service by waiter at the sea/beach area. It was almost impossible to gain the attention of the waiter for drink orders and the quality of the drinks (Tom Collins) was very poor. For 5 star, the service has to be on point and this experience really did let the hotel down. Would I recommend this hotel, well yes but make sure you book a room with a sea view unless you like looking at a brick wall and don’t expect to get a drink by the sea/beach area.

The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed that provided a great night's sleep. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, from the delicious breakfast spread to the fitness center and relaxing spa. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining. I can't wait to return to this hotel on my next visit – it exceeded all my expectations!

KKay TBeautiful spacious room with an excellent view of the sea. The only setback is that the bathtub did not come with an anti slip mat which can be a little slippery getting in and out. Staffs are so friendly and gracious. Breakfast spread is a little disappointing for a 5* hotel. The set up of items are quite messy eg the butter is not placed near the jam. The gluten free items placed in a corner that's not that obvious. The egg station is so far away outside with only 1 person handling so many egg orders.

Great spa area n the top floor - theres also a hot tub and sunbeds on the roof - I don’t think anyone knows about this as we were the only ones there.
Breakfast was lovely, if there’s nothing there for you - you must be super fussy. Plentiful, well cooked. We also ate in the taverna restaurant which was also very good. We had good weather so used the pool area, plenty of sunbeds. You can also swim in the sea here.
Really convenient to explore Dubrovnik. There’s a bus stop right outside the hotel that takes you to the old town every 20 minutes, very cheap too. Taxis come really quick from the hotel.
Definitely have to walk the walls in old town. Cable car to the top with spectacular views. Old town is beautiful, lots of shops if that what you want to do. Didn’t have time to do any trips, but will definitely be coming back to do those.
We walked a lot, exploring the local area so if you are into walking then you will be fine.
We ate in the old town - a recommended restaurant Taj Mahal. Bosnian restaurant, delicious food (not cheap) but perfect for a special meal.
Definitely recommend this hotel and the area. We had an amazing 3 nights - and wish we had booked longer.

PPengguna TetamuThe hotel reached out to confirm when we were leaving the airport as they are not staffed all times. We provided updates but there was some miscommunication when I said the shuttle bus arrived at the airport around 3 pm so she could gauge when we would get to Old Town. When we finally arrived in old town via the shuttle bus 40 minutes later and got to the hotel, Anamaria seemed a slight bit pass ag as she thought I meant the bus arrived at Old town and took longer than expected. Nethertheless she was there to give us the keys and we were able to get into the room.
There was no lift to the room so it makes luggage a bit difficult, but manageable. The room was modern but very marbly and was comfortable. At night the noise from the hallway was a bit loud on the first floor as the stairs creaks and there is extremely bright hallway lights coming into the room from the hallway. I suggest earplugs and night mask.
The location was incredible right in the heart of Old Town and checking out was very easy.

PPengguna TetamuThis is a lovely hotel, clean rooms with good supply of hot water & easy to control air-con, clean pool, free pool towels and free safe (no deposit required), pleasant and welcoming staff. Great breakfast with lots of choice. The hotel kindly prepared us a packed breakfast one morning as we had booked an early trip. Also they were quite happy to provide us with an early morning call. Live music is provided several nights a week in the pool area and is good, and not overly loud. Poolside food is excellent and not too pricey. There are vending machines in the hotel so you can get cold drinks and snacks at any time, however they do appear to be a bit temperamental. I was concerned before I arrived after seeing some reports of construction work outside the hotel but in my opinion it has little impact on the hotel. The work is being carried out to the harbour road, so there is some disruption to the view of the boats and beyond from the hotel pool area. However in terms of noise, we experienced none during our stay other than a couple of lorries passing along the road. In terms of access, if you turn left outside the hotel gate, you can easily walk into the town on a well made road and footpath. If you turn right, it is rough underfoot and not suitable for high heeled shoes or pushchairs, but anyone wearing flat shoes and able-bodied is fine (but to be honest, there's little need to turn right). The buses run frequently into Old Dubrovnik (2 euros each way) and the bus stop is about a 10 mins amble up the hill on the roundabout (slightly less if you use the steps on the left after the hotel as it's a short cut). Plenty of restaurants up the hill and across the road to the pedestrian walkway to the beach. Lots of choice.

We had most amazing stay in Dubrovnik for our anniversary and hope to return next year! We loved the location, calm and relaxing place outside of the Old Town. The beaches are very closed, a few minutes by walk! Good room, modern, clean, comfortable, the view was nice. Delicious breakfast with plenty of options and restocked frequently. Entire staff was very professional, helpful and friendy at the same time.

Please listen to me when I say this this not the place for you. Let me preface this by saying, I have worked in hotels and completely understand that things break and it’s out of our control. It’s the complete lack of communication from the management that I take issue with. To start, when I booked through ******* weeks before my arrival I messaged the hotel and asked if I could come store my bags since I would be there prior to check in time. No answer. That should have been my first clue about their atrocious customer service. I forgot about it until the day before and messaged them again via *******. Still no answer. I found them via WhatsApp and messaged them at 7:29 am. Almost three full hours later they finally responded that yes, I could drop my luggage off (spoiler alert- I had given up on getting a response and already went straight to the property and dropped it off with the guy at check in). They also said that the lock on my door was broken and wouldn’t be fixed until the next day and they could provide other accommodation. Unfortunately I did not see their message because I was exploring old town and at the beach and didn’t realize there was an issue until I went to check into the room around 3:00 pm and could not lock the door. I went downstairs and informed the check in guy who said he would contact the manager. Ok no big deal, I thanked him and went back to my room and waited and waited, and finally contacted the manager via WhatsApp again and asked about another room if this one could not be fixed. They said there was no other rooms available tonight and that hopefully the repairman would be able to resolve the issue (3:45 pm). Why did they offer alternative accommodation if they had no rooms available?? I wait some more and finally decide I need to shower so I lock the bathroom door since I couldn't lock the actual room door. Fast forward to me being locked in the bathroom for a good ten minutes. Long enough for me to begin to panic because my phone was in the main room and would anyone hear me? I finally get the bathroom door open and clearly there has been no repairman during this time. I message the manager again (4:45pm) and asked if they knew when he would be here as I was getting very hungry now. I can see they are online. No response. Twenty min later I texted them a “?” Again I see them come online. Still no response. I finally just grab anything that important that I wouldn’t want stolen and head to dinner. In the meantime I contact ******* to make sure this whole situation is documented. The ******* representative also contacted the manager and did not get a response. 50 minutes later I message them again that this is unprofessional and unacceptable and also their listing is still showing on Kayak yet they said they had no rooms available. Like I said I totally get that these things happen. What upsets me is that their way of dealing with it was to completely ignore me instead of checking in and keeping me updated wi
