Had an absolutely outstanding Afternoon Tea @ The Cromlix. The food was amazing. The staff go above & beyond, very helpful and friendly. The decor & furnishings are beautiful, with beautiful art work. Highly recommend, and we will definitely return.

Cromlix was one of those incredible special places where you are just swept up by the team. Gorgeous decor and an amazing ambience - the team making you feel so relaxed and pampered. Valet parking, complimentary bubbly on arrival, walked to our suite which was on a private corridor near the games room, a fabulous run through of all the details all added to it. Granny Erskines shortbread was stunning. It was a hot day and the team had complimentary water and sun cream for guests on the lawn - this is just an example of all the little thoughtful details. The dining experience was EXCEPTIONAL and we’re still talking about the tomato tartlet starter. Amazing. Thank you for making our special occasion so very special. Can’t wait to return ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a lovely afternoon tea this afternoon for my 30th and the service was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was beautiful and food delicious. Me and my friends did 3 afternoon teas at separate locations due to us all turning 30 and we all agreed this was the best out of the bunch!

We chose to spend Christmas Day at The Cromlix, dining in the Garden Room, and it turned out to be a truly memorable experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the festive atmosphere—the decorations were elegant and tasteful, and the entire setting felt both welcoming and meticulously organised. It was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into creating a special environment for guests, which set the tone for a wonderful celebration. Before our visit, we had a few specific questions about the menu and some dietary requirements. Although it took a little time to get everything clarified, the staff were consistently helpful and accommodating. Once we were able to speak directly with the chef, our concerns were addressed quickly and with genuine kindness. This personal touch was very reassuring and made us feel valued as guests. The Garden Room itself was stunning, with a beautifully festive ambience that perfectly complemented the occasion. The attention to detail was evident everywhere—from the table settings to the subtle seasonal touches throughout the hotel. These elements combined to create a warm and inviting backdrop for our Christmas lunch. The meal was a highlight in itself. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and attractively presented, with flavours that were well balanced and portions that felt generous without being overwhelming. The menu reflected careful planning and creativity, and the quality of the food was consistently high throughout the meal. We particularly appreciated the relaxed pacing, which allowed us to savour each course and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Service at The Cromlix was another standout aspect of our visit. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, and professional, yet their approach was always natural and easy-going. We never felt hurried, and the team managed to strike the perfect balance between being available when needed and giving us space to enjoy our time together. In summary, our Christmas Day lunch at The Cromlix was thoroughly enjoyable in every respect. The combination of excellent food, a beautiful setting, and genuinely warm service made for a fantastic day. We left feeling relaxed and well cared for, and we would not hesitate to recommend The Cromlix to others looking for a special place to celebrate. We very much hope to return in the future.

Just retuned from an absolutely fantastic stay at Cromlix. From the superb suite to the delicious food all massively exceeded expectations. The most impressive thing though was the staff- what a credit to the hotel. Every single member of staff were warm and friendly without being intrusive and made us feel very welcome. Special mention to Richard who showed us to our room and showed us around the chapel- friendly and knowledgable throughout. Thank you so much for a very memorable stay

From the moment we arrived at Cromlix, it was clear we were somewhere special. The staff were genuinely amazing—attentive without ever feeling formal, and always ready with a smile. The food was absolutely lovely, beautifully presented and full of flavour. but what really set the experience apart was the atmosphere. Despite being a five‑star boutique hotel, Cromlix feels wonderfully relaxed and welcoming. There’s a warmth to the place that makes you settle in instantly, as if luxury and comfort have been blended perfectly. And then there was Charlie, our dog, who was treated like absolute royalty. From the second we stepped through the door until the moment we left, he was spoiled in the best possible way. It made the whole stay feel even more personal and memorable.
