Hotel 3 Bintang di Dunedin

Easy and quick check in. Room was lovely and spacious, separate bedroom and lounge with a small fridge/jug. Housekeeping was excellent. Location is a few minutes walk from the Octagon, a bit of a climb walking back up, but doable, even though I huffed and puffed a little 🤣. The lift isn’t the fastest, only had to wait once during our 4 night stay. Requested a late check out as my flight to auckland wasn’t until the late afternoon, which was accommodated with a smile. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again.

L'homme à l'accueil n'est vraiment pas aimable, mauvaise première impression... Il nous demande d'écrire notre numéro de carte de crédit sur un papier, nous lui disons qu'on n'aime pas trop que ça soit écrit quelque part et il nous répond très sèchement que toutes les personnes qui restent ici font ça et qu'il n'y a jamais eu de problème. Le matin nous le croisons à l'heure du check out, même pas un bonjour, juste un ”n'oubliez pas de ramener votre taie d'oreiller”. On a payé plus cher que ce qui était écrit sur le site (1$ plus cher par personne c'est pas grand chose mais ça reste mensonger). Les lits superposés bougent beaucoup et font beaucoup de bruit et le système pour monter à l'étage est vraiment pourri. Les douches sont bof et la cuisine trop petite pour le monde que l'auberge peut accueillir. En vrai pour le prix de n'est pas si horrible mais dans ce genre d'endroit l'amabilité est le minimum.

We had the 2 bedroom unit for 4 nights. The bedrooms have no windows , just a small glassed area looking into the lounge. The heating was an old electric heater that smelled awful so we didn’t use it. The only window in the place (apart from the bathroom one) is by the kitchen . It doesn’t lock so just rattles in the wind all night . we had to buy cutlery as there were no forks and only one spoon. The bathroom is a tiny area , totally wet floor so when you had a shower the whole place got wet. When you used the toilet the floor was always a puddle. The walls were so thin that we could hear the neighbour speaking and snoring all night. Internet went fine but the TV reception was shocking , the sound cut out every third word so we were left playing a game each evening trying to fill in the blanks. Very noisy lads moved in next door on our final night and kept us awake until 4am, Great!! When we booked we read the good reviews and saw the lovely pictures. Sounded quirky but great - not our experience at all. This place is tired , noisy and cold. On the plus side..... Management were friendly and let us arrive early which was very nice , linen was clean, handy location, lovely second hand shop next door and a great cafe 2 doors away. Very close to a bus stop, Dunedin buses are awesome. if you are a student or used to living in a dorm, this might suit you.

This hotel is very handy to central Dunedin. The unit was warm when we used 2 lots of heating sources. It had everything we needed for our stay. Great little kitchenette. Bathroom was OK, no ventilation system to extract moisture, so just had to keep windows open. (A tad chilly) My only minus was how much street noise and student noise we heard every night. Hard to get to sleep. However this is not a fault of the hotel.

Every one who is reading this review im putting a bad feedback about this motel,i had made a booking with them over the phone,but its always best to get that confirmation email which i never through to asks for,i was going to stay there for nearly a week,then i had to cut it back to two nights i had to be in invercargill had something important on,i was chatting to some lady on the phone an had told me it was booked,when i arrive there on Monday 15th Nov 21,some lady there did not know to what i was talking bout,so my family an i ended up heading back home,i got a txt that night saying the key was under the mat,i told this lady i already been an gone,she tried to tell me i went to the wrong motel an i never did i had checked the sign,an her cell no came up with the motel name,she had lied to me,not the best motel to stay at

很好的位置，安靜的公寓，小巧的房子很有風情。設施便利，客廳廚房卧室分離，適合一家三口，加床衹需要在客廳架一張床。空間很寬敞，儘管廚房不適合中式烹飪，簡單早餐，煮和烤，微波爐加熱還是可以的。乾淨衞生，床品舒適，從窗户的一角看見大海很有意思。房間很温暖不用擔心冷，洗澡空間不大，但也不冷。街角意大利餐廳值得嘗試。唯一的很小的缺點是停車位很擠 suv容易刮蹭牆壁。

This is the best motel/hotel you will find in Dunedin. In my opinion, the rate/price is very cheap and the luxury and location is premium. Reception was the most polite, lovely, warm, friendly I've ever encountered in New Zealand. The housekeeping was daily, midday, and very polite, and efficient yet pristine clean. The whole experience there was totally excellent. Cosy clean room. Polite, friendly, lovely staff. Great housekeeping. The design of the building was very ideal. Extremely close to a dairy, university, grass field, and heaps of food outlets. The best place I've stayed in Dunedin and I've stayed in 5 hotel/motels so far. Also the neighbours were super friendly and polite across the fence. Thank you so much to the management. Best recommended accommodation in Dunedin. The people who post negative reviews must be rude and overly entitled and is an unfair reflection on the quality.

Up to its usual high standards. I think they have painted the outside. Beds comfortable. Be nice if they had meals in the bar, but they don't. Nearest dairy is at the holiday park. Driving distance to everything you need. I'm running out of things to say
