Ulasan the Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel

Kemudahan: Kalis bunyi saya tidak dapat tidur dengan nyenyak. Saya dikejutkan pada pukul 5, 6, dan 7 pagi.

Saya tahu tentang hotel ini sejak dahulu lagi, saya kecewa selepas masuk Sikap perkhidmatan di sini terlalu jelas setelah berpindah dari Zhongzhou Keterlaluan. Saya boleh bertolak ansur dengan semua ini kerana saya tidak berniat untuk mengulas selama dua malam dan ingin duduk di luar untuk sarapan pagi , tetapi ia telah dimusnahkan sepenuhnya oleh Dunhuang Villa Oh, by the way, Fengci sedap

A beautiful hotel in a great location overlooking the Echoing sand dunes. The rooftop restaurant is particularly great.

This was our second stay at this amazing hotel. It doesn’t get much better than this. The hotel has an incredible charm, friendly and helpful staff and the view from the breakfast terrace is stunning. Value for money is incredible at this place!

Very good location to enjoy the view of Ming Sha Shan together. Considerate service and very thoughtful facilities included. Better to stay here when planning to go to the Ming sha shan, 4 mins taxi from hotel to there. 10-15mins taxi to the city centre.

A very grand looking hotel with an amazing view over the desert. The room is clean with good water pressure. Service from the staff is excellent it was a good stay for us.

What a special place! Created to look like a desert fortress with beautiful hand-woven rugs hanging in the corridor and a gorgeous mural of the Silk Road in the reception area. The terrace restaurant was a superb place for breakfast with views of the Gobi sand dunes and starry skies at night. The breakfast was enormous, just fabulous, with both Chinese and Western choices. Freshly made noodle soup and omelets and waffles… pretty much anything you could want. Friendly staff, big, well appointed rooms, superior bathroom, everything was great. The location is a little ways from the center of town, but there is a bus across the street that will take you there for two yuan. And you can walk to the right from the hotel for fifteen minutes through a bazaar to a nature site. Loved it!

Over-priced for what is on offer. Smallish, out-of-date room with a tiny bathroom, located a few km out of the lively town center. The only bonus is a restricted view of sand-dunes which you get during breakfast. But is that worth a 500rmb per night premium over a more central hotel offering nicer rooms? I certainly wish we had remained at our central hotel rather than moving here when rooms became available.

Highly recommended to everyone. We traveled to Dun Huang in early May (2024), and we feel grateful for all the kindness we got here. The hotel is very clean, and the service is super accommodating. They provide free pick-up from airport (or train station), so all you need is to call them one day ahead (the receptionist can speak English if you don't speak Chinese). Everyone will smile at you and ask what they can help you when we stay there. The location is brilliant too. It is like 1000 meters away from Ming Sha mountain, and you can actually see the sand mountain when you have breakfast at the hotel (it is free too). We will definitely stay here again when we visit Dun Huang next time.

You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

Amazing hotel with view on the desert ! Comfortable and clean bedrooms. Very well located, next to the crescent moon scenic area, also in front of the outdoor show and 3 mn far from the town center by car. There is a shuttle bus to go to the town center and to the airport. The staff at the front desk welcomed us very warmly, they are really nice and helpful. The buffet breakfast is delicious and tasty, it is located on the roof top with view on the desert. I strongly recommend you this hotel.
