Gable House Bed and Breakfast Inn

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful architecture and located perfectly nestled in a gorgeous neighborhood. Within walking distance of fun shops and good food. I can't wait to go back! Hosts were extremely pleasant and I loved learning the history of the house during our amazing home cooked breakfast. Give Dozer and Jessica big hugs from me! I miss them already! 😆

An outstanding experience in every way. The unique rooms, the food and the hosts made our stay beyond comfortable and memorable! And the homemade family style breakfasts are out of this world - you will not find anything else like it!! We had a crazy schedule while in Durango and they were so accommodating of our needs and went above and beyond for us. 10 star experience!!

My husband and I enjoyed a weeklong stay at The Gable House B&B while visiting family in Durango. We had stayed there several years ago when Heather was the owner. Tracie and Charlie, the proud new(ish) owners of The Gable House, continue the wonderful hospitality. Due to availability, we stayed in two different rooms during our recent stay. Each room was unique, cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean, and we felt right at home. We also enjoyed the various balconies with our coffee on some mornings and star-gazing at night. We looked forward to Tracie's creative and delicious breakfasts each morning made with local ingredients and fruits and veggies from their own garden. (My personal favorite was the avocado toast!) We also always enjoyed the interesting conversations with other guests around the breakfast table. Charlie and Tracie would usually join us, as well, with interesting stories about the history of the house and with recommendations of what to do and where to dine in the area. We will look forward to our next visit! (P.S. A shout out to Cody, too, with whom we enjoyed great conversation on our first morning!)

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast perfectly located to all the cute shops in Durango, Colorado. Our room was very comfortable and hospitality from Charlie and Tracy was top notch. The neighborhood is charming and great for walks. Very highly recommended.

Excellent location in walking distance of downtown Durango, and delicious breakfasts! Innkeepers Tracie and Charlie go out of their way to make their customers comfortable and well informed about all the current activities in the area, plus suggestions for dining each evening. The house is replete with Victorian era furniture and decor: each room has its story to tell. Enjoy the Gable House and its history!

Wonderful stay at the Gable House! We've been going to Durango for more than 20 years and never knew of this B&B. The accommodations were outstanding. We stayed in the Schutt room, which had a great little balcony and private bath. We appreciated that they allowed dogs, and only charged a $30 fee for the stay. Their place is centrally located and an easy, short walk to tons of dining and attractions. The breakfasts were amazing - fresh made and delicious! Charlie and Tracie were wonderful hosts, and very accommodating. Definitely would love to stay there again, and highly recommend the Gable House!
