Asrama di Dushanbe

The hotel was really close to the airport, around 15 minutes far. The room was nice and clean, the front desk was helpful.

Hotel położony w centrum i blisko lotniska właściwie spełnił nasze oczekiwania .Bardzo przestronne pokoje z pełnym wyposażeniem .Część wyposażenia sprawia wrażenie trochę staromodnego , a hotel z zewnątrz wygląda na dość nowoczesny .Wszędzie jest czysto a obsługa jest miła i pomocna. Był drobny kłopot z odpływem wody z wanny , ale łazienka była w miarę komfortowa . Nocowaliśmy tu w sumie 3 noce . Pierwsza przed wyjazdem w Pamir i dwie po powrocie . Śniadania przez ten czas były dokładnie takie same więc przy dłuższym pobycie mogą się pewnie znudzić ? Podawane w formie bufetu , pozornie z dużym wyborem nie są najmocniejszą stroną hotelu . Może to kwestia naszych przyzwyczajeń . Tutejsze wędliny i krojone sery właściwie nie mają smaku .Głodny nikt jednak ze śniadania nie wychodził . Był też problem z kanałami telewizyjnymi , ale po telefonie na recepcję przychodził ”fachowiec” i jakoś je ustawiał . Największym plusem hotelu jest jego położenie i te małe minusy nie zmieniły w sumie bardzo pozytywnej oceny . Hotel oferuje również SPA , saunę , kręgielnię i sale konferencyjną .

It was a relaxing stay. The front desk was so friendly (as most tajik people i met in the country, really) and so helpful. They can assist you with airport transfers and money changing. While I didn’t get to take advantage of it, they also have free laundry and apparently snacks and drinks available for most of the day at the lobby which is a nice touch. The pool was refreshing and the ambiance of the whole place was just very inviting. I used the gym which had a decent setup, though the dumbbells stop at 50lbs and the only bench for barbell pressing was a bit rough to use and unstable. The breakfast was varied, with delicious beans and chicken, grilled vegetables, various cheeses, meat slices, sausages, salad toppings, and more. The real standout personally was the dessert. Brownies dripping with peanut butter and chocolate sauce and danish with berries, it was amazing! Will definitely stay again 👍

I have been staying in Hotel Vatan since 3 February 2022 and will be returning to the Philippines on 28 February. The hotel is located about 10 minutes by taxi from the airport. It is 7-10 minutes walk from the center of the city (the Ismail Somoli monument), Rudaki park, the flagpole (world’s 3rd tallest), and other parks and places of interest including shopping stores and supermarkets. The hotel itself is a one-story building with between 30-40 rooms (am not really sure). The rooms are comfortably sized, neither too big or too tight, enough space to move around, and clean. Bathroom is clean, with strong hot and cold shower. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but sufficient. There is strong wi-fi, stronger than I expected. There is a gym nearby and nice restaurants within 5-10 minute walk. Why did I say Vatan is a 5-star hotel? It’s because of its people. They are amazing! The owners are very accommodating and super super helpful. The husband and wife team go out of their way to make sure your concerns are addressed. I had problem with my registration (for foreigners arriving in TJK). They personally attended to the concern, they were the ones who went to the government office to get me registered and I just waited in the hotel. Now that is what you call 5-star service (a million spasibo)! The front desk staff (Nilufar and Shavkat) are very efficient, courteous and friendly. I was even met (on my request) at the airport by hotel staff upon arrival at 2 in the morning. The room cleaners do their job well and are honest. I intentionally left 2 50-somoni bills lying around (made to look like they unconsciously dropped from my pocket) and asked my room to be cleaned while I went out. When I returned, the room was clean and the somoni bills were on the table. If that isn’t 5-star honesty, I dunno what is. All in all, a very pleasant month’s stay in Hotel Vatan. Now you know where I will stay again if I come back to Dushanbe. And so should you.

Welcoming environment, courteous staff, clean, great breakfast variety, located centrally and taxi available around the clock. 15 mins walk to the center of the city. ATMs to withdraw cash using Mastercards is scarce there. Hilton is only 7mins walk from the Mastercard friendly ATM. I think it was reasonably priced too. Great for families as well as business trips. Mavluda in the front desk was the best reception i ever met.
