I recently stayed at The Wellem with my family, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations we had for such a prestigious establishment and more so as now repeat clients of this place. While a few team members were courteous and supportive, the overall service across many segments fell really short. We faced several concerns and escalations during our stay, which were not handled in a professional manner. When we raised our complaints, the response from the front desk staff was unprofessional and dismissive. One staff member even made sarcastic remarks, which was both surprising and disappointing given the hotel’s reputation. Despite the positive interactions with some staff members, the way our concerns were addressed was unacceptable and has left us questioning the level of service at this establishment. We hope the management takes these issues seriously and implements the necessary improvements

I had a terrible experience at The Wellem Düsseldorf. The customer service during checkout was unhelpful and dismissive. To make matters worse, my Hermes cap was stolen from my room, and the management did nothing to resolve the issue. This lack of support and negligence has left me deeply frustrated and disappointed. I expected much better from a hotel of this caliber. The front desk staff were unprofessional and disrespectful. My family and I have been regular guests at the hotel, and we have always valued the service provided. However, those individuals conduct has been repeatedly discourteous and unprofessional. I won’t be recommending this place to anyone

The best hotel to stay at, location, staff, hotel everything! I highly recommend it! This is our second time stay and if we have a 3rd visit believe me this will be it!

Beautifully designed hotel with wonderful staff in a great location... Checks all the boxes for a wonderful stay whether for a short or a long term stay.

My family and I recently stayed at The Wellem and had a wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and well managed. Every encounter with hotel staff was very positive. The desk staff scheduled transportation for us on multiple occasions and also accommodated our need for an extra night due to a flight cancelation. We would definitely return and hightly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dusseldorf.

I stayed at the Wellem in Dusseldorf in June 2024. It was a great location with food, shopping and sight seeing all a stone throw away. The Wellem in itself is an immersive experience where you can enjoy History, Art and Luxury.

If you are going to Dusseldorf don’t miss your chance to stay in this amazing hotel. It is full of charm and the rooms are really big. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The food is great and breakfast has excellent choices.

Person at check-in was rude and would not answer basic questions about address on invoice and was rather just talking over me without listening. Also asked for slippers, and was told entire hotel has no slippers, which i don’t believe is the case. I’ve stayed here for business in the past and had no issues. Not a good start to the week staying here.
