Was good

the hotel has a good location, all major sights are around. the room is neat and has separated shared bathroom. The only drawback is that it may be a little noisy outside during nights.

The place is really cool, clean and all staffs are amazing :)

I didn’t love my stay here, even though everything was clean and the staff were lovely. I stayed in a 12 bed mixed dorm, with a very very slow to close squeaky door. With the usual people coming and going throughout the night, this made for a few really terrible nights of sleep. I mentioned it to reception who seemed like it was out of their hands to fix- pack earplugs for your stay here! Otherwise no issues at all, and very well located.

Not too bad. Toilets could’ve been better cleaned. It can get noisy, especially if you’re on the window side.

Friendly staff, clean hostel and great location, I have enjoyed my stay there.

Nice stay in Edinburgh

前台安排到三百米外的另一個分店，第二天早上免費給一張早餐券和一個存包箱子的塑料幣，價值一共5.5棒，麻煩了客人，適當補償，有擔待

Nice and cheap, quiet and friendly. And out of the madding crowd! Thing about Edinburgh is, it’s full of tourists. If you want a space to breath and relax step back a street or two and discover little places like this, we didn’t not stay at the hostel, an d had only drinks and a snack, but we relished the clean quiet outdoor seating area. And these were the cleanest bathrooms I saw in the whole of Scotland!

I had never experienced staying in a hostel. I found this place while researching where to stay in Edinburgh. The location was perfect., right next to the Grassmarket. The staff were very kind and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and excellent water pressure in the showers. We booked a private 6 dorm room which was perfect for our family. Would highly recommend this hostel.

This was the first hostel I have ever stayed in, and I was feeling quite anxious about it as I have heard plenty of horror stories about hostel life & the mixed bag it can be. The hotels in the city were all super expensive for the time of year- so I booked into a 4 bed female only dorm so that I limited the amount of strangers I would potentially have to "put up with" - luckily, it all went well. I'm pleased to say this place was clean and felt safe. (I got lucky that my dorm-mates weren't the "party til 4am then stumble in loudly and vomit" type 😂) so I was able to get solid sleep and feel refreshed. I would definitley stay here again!

This hostel while centrally located is Absolutley terrible if you plan on sleeping at any point of your trip . There is a bright light turned on that cannot be turned off , there is no air conditioning and all the windows allow for extreme noise to come through at all hours od the night .not to mention the beds are terribly uncomfortable . I would not stay here again

I am currently staying in this hostel and I cannot sleep because for some reason their emergency exit signs are incredibly bright and very close to the beds. They could very easily add a sort of board by the sleeper head to rectify this but apparently that wouldn't be safe. I've stayed in three other hostels in Edinburgh and wanted to try a different one don't use this one. The other hostels had green glowing exist signs or realised you'd remember the only door into the room and didn't have one. Asked at reception they just said put a towel on your head and leave a review. So I will as a towel is not solving this issue created by the hostel. Not worth the money as you won't be able to sleep if you get given a bed near the door.
