Ulasan Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club

It is a Beautiful hotel. You can drive up to the front door unload and park. Unfortunately the staff didn’t great use or say hi when we went check in. This I found impolite.  The room looks like new. Very clean and tidy. In my opinion the Bathroom needs updating. Overall I had a good sleep and was satisfied with the facilities, and the price 

Lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. She helped us check in and get our room at 12pm which was excellent after driving for 3 hours. Room was warm, modern and clean with all the amenities. We ordered breakfast(room service) through the online ordering system which was slightly confusing ie it didn’t allow me to select only 1 person. Also, I didn’t realise that for the Scottish breakfast you would need to select toast from the Continental selection in order to get it. However, was pleasantly surprised that one of the ladies from the restaurant brought up to my room some toast and pastries. Only thing to improve on for the hotel is the coffee was very weak. I would recommend staying at the hotel. Love the grounds and the “castle” stately home look of the hotel.

It was an excellent stay. The hotel is very well run and comfortable.

Overall really good. Room was quite dusty all over which would be the only down point.

Absolutely dreadful. The staff were terrible. I couldnt get any food in the restaurant or brasserie and was asked to carry my own room service tray up to my room. The staff blatantly lied about the brasserie being full and this is something which i have read on other reviews also. The food was awful and the hotel itself very tired looking. I would definitely never stay there again.

For a weekend away to see a show and have a little me time we thought the Dalmahoy would be ideal with its spa dacilities and located nearby to Edinburgh on a bus route. We were given an upgrade and couldnt get the tv to work so people came and replaced it. I was slightly underwhelmed by the food choices in the restuarants but delighted with the s ones for the cream tea we had and the service was excellent. The sea kelp smell in the en suite was not pleasant to my nasal tastes when we first arrived but by day 2 i couldnt smell it any longer. Our spa time was pleasant but there was no one employed to offer massages or facials etc so we did our own back in the room whilst enjoying a bottle of prosecco. Would definitely go again as the atmoshere is so very relaxing. If you want you have the choice of 2 18 hole golf courses so the views ftom the hotel are extremely pleasant

Went for 1 night away, previously stayed and enjoyed the service the pleasant staff and the character of the hotel and surroundings. The country club gym/spa is also a highlight of the saty.

A relaxing stay, unfortunately the pentland restaurant we were told was closed so we could only use the brasserie for food. I wouldn’t pay that amount again for the food we got it’s was fine but limited options and the quality wasn’t great for the price. Cocktail bar was lovely, our room was nice the duvet was a bit dirty when we got into bed. We stayed two night and it’s was a wholesome trip

Lovely spa! Hotel looks beautiful as you drive along the long drive way.

A very relaxing experience. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. We will return to this hotel when visiting the area again.
