Bambuu Lakeside Lodge

Our stay was amazing! The location is beautiful and secluded, and the views are beautiful especially if you get a lakeside room. The hotel is small-scale so there won’t be any crowds. The staff really did their best to make us feel welcome and relaxed. They were very friendly! Rooms are spacious and modern but cosy. The only problem we had were the curtains in one of the rooms, they let all the light through so we woke up early with the sunrise. The other room had no such issue though. The pool is great for relaxing, as well as the restaurant. We had dinner and breakfast twice, the food is great and there’s plenty of choice for everyone. The only downside to the lodge is the location, in between Hazyview and Sabie. If you want to visit the Kruger Park, the closest gates (Numbi & Phabeni) are at least 35 km away. You’ll probably spend a lot of your day in the car if you’re driving through the park on your own, and it was a bit annoying for us to sleep so far away from the entrance. During our stay, the long road from Hazyview to the lodge was under construction, which meant we had to drive slowly and wait for other traffic to pass. Slight inconvenience but it didn’t take away from our stay, just something to keep in mind. The drive was worth it though, we had an amazing time. I’d recommend the Bambuu lodge to everyone!

Amazing location. Beautiful views. The room was so pretty and had everything we needed. The view from the deck of the room made us feel so relaxed. The breakfast was delicious. There is a very scenic walking trail, a must see. Will definitely be back again.

We stayed at Bamboo Lakeside lodge and have enjoyed everything. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the location itself is from a fairy tale. The accommodation is very good and clean. WE really enjoyed staying there as a couple and would go back any time.

Amazing place and service. Room was very clean, good food and staff gabe all the support to schedule transfer and safaris.

We enjoyed our stay, I wish it was longer. Selby welcomed us very well, all the staff members were super nice and the service was top tier. We had dinner by the lake, Will definitely go back there again.

My family and I enjoyed the serene and tranquil environment that characterises Bambuu Lakeside Lodge. The staff were alawys warm and helpful! The breakfast by the lake was something surreal! I'd return anytime. The 3 rooms we booked met our expectations! The potholes on road to Hazyview Mall require attention though.

Amazing property, staff attentive (thank you Patson) very tranquil, peaceful and beautiful room with all wamenities needed… food yummie, but service could be abit quicker - surrounding absolutely magical, tucked away into a stunnin lake

It was heaven .I honestly can't fault it on anything .the room for me takes the cup .the staff is very friendly and willing to assist with anything . The breakfast is topnotch .thank u Bambu u guys know hospitality

One has to book themselves to experience what Bambuu can offer, wake up to some breathtaking views of the lake, an exemplary management team and some scrumptious all day dining. A property with only 10 rooms by the lake it’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer
