Do not trust your reservation! No matter your loyalty level. (Lifetime Platinum) I booked weeks in advance for a stay on our 2 day journey from Waco to California. We got in later than anticipated but I had checked in online so I knew we were fine. My credit card on file needed to be updated so the hotel called me directly the morning of our stay (so they had my phone number & had used it). When I checked in, no issues, got the key. When we got to the room it was a 1 bed with sofa sleeper instead of reserved 2 bed and sofa sleeper. Not enough beds and my reservation showed 4 adults. So back to the front desk and I was told by the worker that her manager had downgraded our room! They were booked and had no other options. I ended up sleeping in my son’s truck. They still charged me for the room after talking with other staff and the manager. All I got was a slight discount and Marriott points. Just be aware. Otherwise we had stayed here on two other occasions and it was fine.

Pros - On west side Very close to Leos restaurant, excellent food and margaritas Cons- Air conditioner in fitness center did not work Indoor pool area sweltering hot….in October, no ventilation Road noise horrendous. Right by highway. Went down at 7 am first day and was told they would try to change my room. At this point it was Thursday and there were plenty rooms available, but they didn’t want to change my room. We put cushions and pillows in window opening to try and insulate from noise . Miserable trying to sleep, front desk reply “oh i kniw, do yiu want some ear plugs?” One of two elevators did not work My daughters room just didnt get cleaned one day, no towels I stayed here four years ago for a class reunion and it was wonderful so I recommended this place to my family. What a mistake. Find another hotel.

Fraudulent experience at this hotel. I had pre booked and paid for hotel before my arrival. No issues checking in. Once I left noticed a charge on my credit card. Called to see what this was, Spoke to a Manger Monica. Has yet to fix issue, now no one knows nothing.

We slept very well here. It was a long drive from Yuma, but we were able to get here with some help from the GPS in the car. Rooms were clean, large and well apportioned. The breakfast was just what we needed and hit the spot. Thanks for a great stay!

Booked thru Marriott, found out this was somehow diverted to a 3rd party , the room reserved was not what we reserved , the hotel was sent a reservation of a reg room whereas we booked a suite for 3 nights. Our reservation confirmation included pics of the suite . After going back and fourth, the general manager , Anthony Montez stepped in and fully accommodated us to make our stay as nice as possible - which included honoring the suite for which the 3rd party did NOT reserve with the hotel .

I like Hotels with the Purpose and I love them when the Property is true to its Identity and do not try to oversell. That is exactly the case at Fairfield Inn & Suites. It is Modern, It is Clean, it is Comfortable, It is Friendly. it takes for former military guys 5 minutes of driving to get you to airport or 10 minutes to pick you up from it. The Hotel is about giving to the guests comfortable night of sleep when you decide to have a rest after the arrival or don't want to stress yourself before the departure. Make sure that you come there with right expectations because this Hotel doesn't expect you to hang around or to have a party there, unless you are airline crew that after long day of work wants to soak in the pol away from home. I can't speak about overall value since I used the voucher to stay there, but I sense that for the purpose this property provides better Value than Downtown JWs. Kudos to Marriott for making travelling America such a comfortable and convenient undertaking.

We were surprised to find the room very quiet even though the hotel is very close (and convenient) to I-10; however, when the AC turned on, the fan noise was a nuisance. The staff are very friendly and breakfast was decent. The internet was easy to connect to, but slow; and the soap dispenser was empty (and no bar of soap was provided). A $10 parking fee for a hotel that is only accessible by vehicle is absurd and an obvious way to make a few more dollars.

Many choices for hotels in El Paso on the way to AZ. This was an excellent choice. Great value! Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Comfortable beds, Highway side room yet quiet. Pets allowed. Delicious breakfast. Paid parking ($10) no big deal. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Leo’s Mexican Grill hit the spot, delicious margaritas and food. Will stay again if we drive through these parts.

I am a flight attendant, so I stay in A LOT of hotels. This one is as nice as any of them, with comfortable beds, HUGE tubs, and amazing customer service. Henrietta at the desk is as sweet and kind as can be, and gave me some great recommendations for some delicious eats in the area. Speaking of eats, the breakfast was pretty good too, although simple. They had English muffins which make me happy. The view of the mountains is lovely, and there are plenty of places to eat right around the hotel. I hope I stay here again on the job! I chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool. The pool was nice, but it was not heated, or lightly heated, so it was not as good as I was hoping. But the hot tub was very warm and one of the best I have been in. I do think the choice to have slick tiles on the floor between the pool room and the elevator was poor. The room was ok, but a little smaller than we have experienced lately but overall just fine. The people who work here are nice. They do need to upgrade to scanning keys. The swiping keys did not always work and we made sure to have both keys with us all of the time. I would have no problem staying here again, but would see if they had a bigger room next time. Decent water pressure, in fact the shower was probably one of the best parts of the stay.
