Hotel 2 Bintang di El Paso

Saya membuat prabayar dan menempah hotel untuk 2 malam. Saya tidak mendaftar masuk pada malam pertama tempahan saya. Apabila saya cuba mendaftar masuk pada hari ke-2 tempahan saya, saya diberitahu bahawa tempahan saya telah dibatalkan walaupun saya telah membayar untuk 2 malam. Penolong pengurus hotel meminta untuk melihat kad yang saya gunakan untuk tempahan dan mengenakan saya $74 lagi untuk bilik yang telah saya bayar. Saya kini sedang menunggu bayaran balik daripada trip.com kerana tempahan saya diterima.

Horrible experience. I was in an executive suite that attached by an inside door to the next room. My room neighbors had 2 kids, 1 of which cussed like a sailor and sounded 5 years old, at most. Parents yelling @ kids, kids yelling at parents, and each other well past 10 pm. They were so loud that I called my husband to ask his opinion and he could hear them on my phone. He told me what he would do, and I opted for the more mature option. No phones work here, including the front desk, requiring me to physically get out of bed late in the night to voice a complaint. When my complaint was made, I was the one moved, and I was downgraded after confirming it wouldn’t be a down grade. I can say, the hotel clerk did help me move upon my request, and there’s no way she herself did not hear the amount of noice coming from next door. So here I am, when I should be in bed hours ago (because I have to get up for work super early), awake and moving rooms to a downgrade. My room is booked for a week, but I’m planning to contact my company to request a move to a different hotel tomorrow that will be further away from my job site due to this experience. Further, the hotel is being remodeled (I stayed here for a night or two 6 months ago and it was being remodeled then too) so the front doors are manual, which makes it very difficult to bring in groceries and luggage and such. No phones work at all, as stated earlier. Lastly, there was a sign that said the fire alarms aren’t working either. In hindsight, how is this even safe?

Good for a one night stay. I went there for a night and the room is warm enough.

Upon arrival we were not greeted or recognized as a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member. Maria - front desk attendant - never smiled or thanked us for choosing Marrriott. I offered my ID and CC and she didn’t thank me. She never made eye contact and just handed my ID and CC back to me. She didn’t offer us water bottles which I found out the next morning from the breakfast attendant and Emily, the morning front desk attendant, we should have received. We walked by the front desk at least 6 times while Maria was on duty - she never acknowledged us much less smiled at us. Terrible customer service. (NOTE: A week earlier we stayed at the Fairfield Inn Las Cruces and our experience was completely different. We were warmly greeted by Jason, thanked for staying at the property and for being loyal Bonvoy members and provided complimentary water. Additionally, every time we walked by the front desk in the Las Cruces property the attendant smiled, acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything.) When we arrived in our room at the Fairfield ElPaso there was a smell like dirty sneakers or socks. The toilet seat was broken but I give Marcelino, the maintenance attendant, a big thumbs up for quickly repairing. But the final straw was the $10 per night parking charge - what a rip off! My fault for not seeing this in the FINE PRINT when I made our reservation, but still. We have stayed at the Courtyard nearby previously and I checked and they still don’t charge for parking and neither do any of the other Marriott properties nearby including the TownePlace Suites right next door to the Fairfield. Bottom line - DO NOT STAY HERE… unless you like paying $10 for parking in a standard hotel parking lot and like feeling unwelcome.

The office staff was helpful. The beds were good. It was somewhat noisy due to the vehicles in the parking lot and a few planes. The breakfast is grab and go....muffin, energy bar, cereal, milk, coffee, and juice. There are several restaurants within a mile. Plenty of parking. I liked that the rooms had a mini fridge and microrange. The price was right.

Rooms are small, but service is big at the Best Western El Paso Estrada. Everything is top quality at this hotel. I’ve stayed at all the neighboring hotels at the El Paso Airport as a regular business traveler and with the exception of this Best Western all of them are lacking in quality, cleanliness, and service. This one is the exception. Everything about the Best Western shines, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the quality of the breakfast, to the speed of the WiFi, to the front desk service. It’s also a short distance to the airport and offers shuttle service. Highly recommended.
