Stay was good, breakfast was better than average. Service desk was very helpful. It’s very close to Lucerne which was a big plus from us. The food in the Lux restaurant was good and good value.

One of the worst experiences of my life. I would give a zero star if I could. The hotel is a total rip off, the staff is rude and they have no ethics. I booked a family room for 4 members, upon arriving they asked for all person's photo ID and note down passport numbers of everyone. Never seen this in other European countries I traveled too. Then they told me even though I have a family room and it has bunk bed for my kids, they said my reservation is only for 2 people and they will charge me extra per night per kid. I wish their policies were clearly stated. At check in she said it will be 25 CHF per child per night which is a lot. After adding so much additional cost, the price of the hotel was outrageous, I could have booked a hotel near Lucern train station, this place was 20 minutes bus ride and felt quite far. At checkout I got a surprise and they charged me 35 CHF per child per night, instead of what I was told at check in. On top of it when I asked them to show the policy where they talk about this additional charge, they couldn't show anything. They just charged whatever they wanted to. The lady at check out was so rude and mean and was very disrespectful. I would never ever recommend this place. Stay away from this place at every cost. It felt they wanted to charge for every small thing. On bathroom wall they had a poster saying if there is water outside the shower room and needs cleaning, they will charge 200 CHF for cleaning. *** is that? The shower door always leaked water outside. The breakfast was repetitive every day. Every time you enter breakfast room they record your room number because they don't trust you that you are going to sneak in extra people and eat their pathetic breakfast. What a terrible experience ! I have traveled a lot throughout the world and never had such a terrible experience.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. I booked an economy room through their website. No where on their website or any website did it indicate with words or pictures that you may get a room with a sloped ceiling. It is so low that you have to crawl across the bed just to go to the restroom and you have to crouch to use the toilet or get in shower. The staff do not care. They are rude and state that there are 3 or 4 rooms in that category that have the low ceiling. The manager lies and says that All rooms in that category have the low ceiling even though their website shows a completely different picture. They are unwilling to change it even though we got injured and will not lower the rate. There is no indication you could receive this room and they admit that there is not a warning, but that you should know that in Switzerland that is a risk you take. that is untrue and many hotels in Switzerland and America look just like this hotel on the outside but do not subject people to this issue! I am very familiar with travel in Switzerland and know several people there and it is unheard of that hotels have ceilings like this. If this was a possibility, it should be disclosed but they are false advertising so they can receive more income and they don't care if they disappoint a few guests. It is horrendous and they are way overpriced, especially for a room like that! Also the air conditioner made loud noises and the room was dirty but they did not care at all. I have never stayed at a more dishonest place! It is almost a scam! -Moffett

Avoid this hotel! I was treated unfairly by terrible, unhelpful and rude employees/owners. I booked a room for 3 nights, intending to use a quiet space to finish a research assignment (I have a husband and 2 noisy kids at home). I was given a dark room with only a roof window. - I had to jump on the bed to open the window (see photos) - When the window is open, black soot will float into the room as the chimney was near. - But if I close the window I have no air source! - Instead of an air-con as described on their website, I had some kind of machine that blew air but does not cool air. After 2 nights, I called reception on a Sunday to ask for a new room. Many people had checked out. When I met the reception in person, my request was received with unfriendliness and even rudeness. An old man with white hair was looking at video footage of me and my husband in the lobby. The woman and the man then accused me of having 2 people in my room when I booked a room for one. My husband came by to give me my Yoga mat and he didn't stay overnight. The woman and man were focused on shifting some form of fault on me, instead of solving the issue of my terrible room with no window problem. They didn't care a single bit that they had offered a room that was not fit to be called a hotel room. Zero effort to solve a guest's problem. They insisted that I pay extra or a new double room if I did not want the current room (with no proper window). Their rudeness and hostile attitude is not acceptable as hotel owners. It was a terrible experience. The employees at housekeeping and at breakfast were the only friendly silver lining at this terrible hotel.

Posizione ottima in quanto vicino all autostrada.la difficoltà sta nel comunicare in altre lingue oltre al tedesco cosa che un un hotel è vergognoso.personale della reception molto freddo .camera pulita ma niente altro.inoltre non ce un minifrigo.colazione varia ma non abbastanza.prodotti di bassa qualità.sconsigliato.

excellent rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel à 15 mn porte à porte de Lucerne et de sa gare . Petit déjeuner inclus, chambre petite mais confortable, bonne literie. Petit bémol : peu de lumière le soir dans la chambre et clim HS . Réception fermée le midi donc ok pour laisser les bagages mais pas pour le check in donc pas de carte de bus/ réduction le premier jour .

Das LUX war uns schon früher als ein Restaurant bekannt, das seine Gäste mit viel Herz und feinen Speisen bedient. Der heutige Abend mit Ardon als unseren charmanten und zuvorkommenden Kellner hat den positiven Eindruck noch verstärkt! Jederzeit gerne wieder!!

Piccolo hotel nelle vicinanze di Lucerna. Camere e bagni a posto, ma alcune cose non mi sono piaciute. L'ascensore che apre su un piano intermedio, cosicché occorre fare almeno mezzo piano in discesa o in salita per raggiungere la camera, la richiesta di una cauzione di 200 CHF nonostante avessero trattenuto già il pagamento del soggiorno qualche giorno prima. Il frigobar sigillato in camera (la chiave probabilmente veniva data alla reception dopo l'acquisto di bevande o altro), il bollitore privo di té e caffé, acquistabili anch'essi alla reception. Colazione scarsa nella scelta. Parcheggio gratuito, ma piccolo, dietro all'hotel

Adquirí una triple (2 adultos y un niño de 3 años) y la pagué (el único establecimiento de 6 en Suiza que tuve que pagar por adelantado). Al llegar y ver la habitación. no había cama-cuna para el menor y me dijeron que si la quería, tenía que pagar un suplemento de 80 Francos. Entonces, ¿para qué pago un atriple, si no ponen la cama?. Además, tampoco pusieron toallas para el tercero. También fue el único hotel de todos los de Suiza que nos retuvieron 200 F. en garantía. LO DESACONSEJO ABSOLUTAMENTE

Poco fuori da Lucerna che è raggiungibile sia in macchina che con il bus. Personale disponibile e gentile. Camere pulite e confortevoli, unica pecca i cuscini a mio avviso scomodi. Colazione buona ma con poco dolce (manca la crema spalmabile e la cioccolata calda). L'hotel ti permettere di fare una tessera digitale con sconti e bus gratuito.

Ho trascorso qui una notte per visita a Lucerna e mi sento assolutamente di consigliare questa struttura. Camera e bagno ampi e pulitissimi, la mia stanza al secondo piano era assolutamente silenziosa nonostante la struttura sia vicino ad una strada trafficata non si percepiva alcun rumore. Letto ampio e comodo. Personale cortese e colazione varia, forse vi è una maggior varietà per la parte salata ma non mancano pane marmellata brioches da farcire yogurt frutta succhi e un ottimo caffè. Sicuramente il prezzo della stanza è più elevato rispetto agli standard italiani, ma la Svizzera in generale è un po' così. Tuttavia il rapporto qualità/prezzo è comunque buono anche rispetto ad altre strutture di pari livello periferiche a Lucerna. La distanza dall'hotel al centro è di circa 10minuti in auto ed è anche servito dai mezzi pubblici. L'hotel dispone inoltre di parcheggio gratuito e wifi.
