Great location as it's just beside the cable car station to Titlis. The sauna and the pool were both well maintained. Overall, the stay was good. The service could have been better though.

Very bad experience... Though this hotel has nice rooms but they could improve drastically on services.. You won't find a single person for help if you need anything at night. One of the Staff is very very rude, arrogant and stingy. She has no manners on how to speak with guests. We were having fruits in breakfast and since we had a bus to catch so when we tried to take those fruits with us (apples & pear) but that arrogant manager asked us to leave the fruits in their hotel only saying ”you can't pack your lunch” here. I mean common, grow up!! We are not kids, we travel the world. Keeping 2-3 fruits for a family of 5 is not packing lunch for god's sake. On the top of it, she pasted a circular in the breakfast area that this food is not for packing lunch, bla bla, the very next morning. And even of you are not generous, at least learn some basic manners of communication. You can't shout at your guests and there is a way to politely inform the same. We have never experienced such a horrible hospitality anywhere. Please stay away from this hotel at any cost.

The hotel is located just opposite the train station with (ski) bus stop. Luckily the hotel has sound proof windows. Very stylish renovated hotel, keeping the old heritage. The room was small but comfy with nice view. The hotel parking is 15.- per night, what is okay. The management has chosen to implement 2G rule (German shortening for vaccinated/recovered), although according Federal Covid-19 ordinance, this only applies for hotel’s restaurant/bar. This should be more clear stated on the booking site.

Looking for a relaxing break in the Swiss Alos, close to the slopes, I found this little gem: a hotel, pretty rustique in the traditional Swiss way! Not far from the heart of Engelberg but far enough to contemplate the sky, see the stars and hear only the heartbeat of nature. Clean, very very clean, with comfortable rooms, not big, just comfy, most with a balcony overviewing the village. Staff, super nice and polite, ready to help and advise: had a 10% discount in my ski rental and anytime I wanted to go skiing they got in the minivan and took me to the resort! The restaurant was also nice, with delicious dishes and a savvy wine list. Not to miss! Only point I would like to note, the breakfast buffet: every day the same, not always fresh fruits available. Would like some variety and some chocolate croissants, please! Overall, a must go!
