The hostel was average, what you would expect for the price. The common areas were good, but you could see that they only did a light clean The rooms were also average, but the bathrooms were a problem, you could see that the showers were not clean, some didnt even lock. The general cleaning was just changing the sheets from the people that were leaving, I was there for 5 days and the bathrooms were never cleaned. There wasnt anything extremely disgusting, but not clean either. The kitchen storage space was always overflowing, all the fridges were full of things and there was no more space in the pantry to put things. Over all it was a nice place to meet people. the beach was close, but no supermarket close by. I recommend uber if you are carrying a lot of things and coming from the beach side since the hill is really steep and the uber its around 4€ from the city The sleeping its not too bad, some nights its more noisy than others, but nothing a pair of earplugs cant solve. The bar was good and the common areas made it easier to talk to people, which was really nice. The staff was super friendly, extra points for that ❤️

My experience was over all good. It was very social when I was there which made my visit very good. The first room I got was not cleaned good and was very moldy/humid. After requesting for a another room they changed me to an all female dorm which was in much better shape. Very spacious room with two toilets and showers. Over all it was clean in the common areas and there was a lot to do there. Also nice with free filtered water refilling. The location is a bit off from town but the walk is fine and it is close to the beach

Very sad experience. A whole class of students found at the arrival that most of the rooms were not ready: not enough rooms according to the initial reservation, bugs on some beds, the already paid half board (breakfast and dinner) was not served..... The teachers (who did not get their room, neither) managed to get some catering for first dinner, but the children had to wash the dishes theirselves. These were not the conditions accorded with the agency. Not recommended place. Please, get very well informed in advance about this place before your trip.

Was pleasantly surprised. Less expensive than other hostels but better all around. Only problem was the high price of the laundry facilities.

Wonderful time spent in WOT Ericeira Surf Hostel ! Very nice room, with good comfy beds and an amazing balcony (with sea view, sunset is just perfect from there !) The hostel has a lot of different spaces and activities allowing us as guests to share very good moments around the swimming pool, the table tennis area, the pool table... The whole vibe (activities, view, music, weather, etc) is just amazing, an unforgettable stay with WOT !
