Hotel dengan Sarapan pagi di Escolives-Sainte-Camille

We booked the gite at the Domaine for a family wedding on the other side of the river so it was a choice made from necessity rather than design. But what a wonderful place it proved to be. We had the best of both worlds - complete privacy and space of our own in Le Colombier (the dovecote) - and breakfast each morning, a dinner one evening at the Chambres d'Hote itself and a lovely swimming pool. The staff were all young, quirky and charming and the wine tasting is not to be missed. Dinner was great, too. It is a chambres d'hote not a hotel so you all sit together and there is no choice in the menu. If you're expecting a hotel proper you might be disappointed, but I'd strongly suggest you'd be wrong. We were served terrine, poulet au chaource with gratin dauphinois and green beans, cheese and cherry clafoutis. It was all delicious. It's a charming place, in a beautiful location with good food and excellent wine and the opportunity to meet other travellers.
