Clean and modern hotel in the "niu"-Style. Decent-size room with very comfortable bed. Not much facilities (no fridge in room, no water provided...), and no gym facilities - but that is fine with the very reasonable price point. Some limited dining options at the reception bar in the evening (pizza or Flammkuchen). Overall all was fine and would book again.

The hotel's environment and location are both good, though the rooms are a bit small. The breakfast is also quite good, making it worth a subsequent stay. If you need help, you can contact the front desk staff, who speak English and provide decent service.

Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet was completely overbooked, so everything was always empty and the selection was limited. The rooms were excellent.

It is one stop away from the main train station. The guy at the front desk was warm and thoughtful. He let me check in early. The breakfast was a little less, but I was very satisfied with everything else.

Free parking is available on the roadside of the hotel. There is no heating in the room, which is a bit unbearable

There is a road under construction in front of the hotel. You need to be careful to turn around when navigating to the hotel parking lot. The room is clean and fresh. The service staff in the lobby on the first floor are quite enthusiastic. The restaurant and bar on the first floor is both a breakfast and night bar, and you can also work with a laptop. The hotel is walking distance to the central train station Essen HBF. The Chinese restaurant in the city center is about 2 kilometers and 20 minutes. You can also take the subway to the city center. The hotel is also within 2 kilometers from the exhibition hall. In addition, there is a Lidl supermarket within 1 kilometer of the hotel, where you can buy food, drinks, breakfast bread and milk. The hotel's parking lot is open and charges 15 euros all day. Communicate with the front desk on the first day to get some discounts. There is also an Arial gas station near the hotel for refueling after a long journey.
