Walking distance to Essen centre. Beds in twin room very narrow. Functional stay.

Quick check in. Clean room, good breakfast. 10minutes walk to city center.
Avoid this hotel. They engage in mismanagement, deception, and unfair trade practices. At busy times, they overbook their hotel and if there are not enough spontaneous cancellations, they start calling off guests themselves. In doing so, they cancel the guests with the cheapest rate first, not the guests who booked first. I was in town for a business trip and I heard five days before departure that my room was cancelled, even though I had booked a full year before. At that time, all other hotels were also fully booked. I tried everything, but they did not listen and pushed their way. Their offered ‘alternative’ was 25 km away and due to the late hours I have to do, not a serious alternative. They got me into quite a mess but they don't care about their customers. Money is all that matters. Don't go here!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this hotel. I was under the impression that their hotel cost 65 euros per night. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it turned out that we had to pay 95 euros. If the facilities were in order, I would have accepted that. However, it turned out that the hot water did not work during our entire stay. Additionally, there was no possibility for breakfast that morning. I made several attempts to contact the hotel. After a few attempts, I received a response. The option offered was a refund of 9 euros. I found this to be very inadequate. I am dissatisfied with my experience at the hotel, as well as with how complaints are handled afterward.

The hotel is part of the B&B chain, so you know in advance what you might expect. Rooms are basic but clean. And definitely OK for a night or for a couple of nights, they have a private bathroom, TV and climate control. Car park is available in front of the hotel (free of charge). The hotel is located just outside the 'Stadkern', it's a ten minute walk to the Limbecker Platz shopping center.

This is a nice, cheap simple hotel about 10 mins walk to the city centre. The big attraction was the large number of free car parking spaces, and what feels like a very safe area Rooms are OK and clean, and fairly cheap. Breakfast is relatively cheap and can be paid for on the day. If I was in Essen I'd happily stay there again.

Zimmer ausreichend groß und sauber. Das Bad ist klein,aber sinnvoll ausgenutzt. Parkplatz gratis Negativ war,dass sowohl die Handseife,als auch das Duschgel leer waren und die bereit stehenden Becher benutzt waren ☹️ Ausserdem war am Morgen im Frühstücksraum eine Wahlveranstaltung ( müsste bulgarien gewesen sein) und dadurch mega laut und ein gewussel, wie zur rushour!!! Sehr nervig!!! Gemütlich Frühstücken ist anders - wobei das Frühstück ansonsten lecker war....

Trattamento inqualificabile, esperienza mai vissuta (per fortuna), in tanti anni di viaggi all'estero. Soggiorno di 2 notti per affari, prenotazione fatta (consapevolmente) solo con pernotto. Dopo la prima notte, faccio colazione, dichiarando il numero della camera. Mi viene fatto notare che la colazione non era inclusa. Rispondo "bene, la paghero' (ovviamente!). Risultato, alla sera rientro per la seconda notte, e non posso accedere alla camera, perché il codice di 6 cifre in mio possesso sembrava non funzionare più. Alla reception, mi dicono: si, il codice è stato cambiato, perché la colazione non è stata saldata. A questo punto, mantengo il mio fair play, ma dentro di me penso: ma come sono messi questi qua? Gli extra non si pagano piu' al check out? Occorre pagare gli extra di volta in volta? Hanno paura che io scappi senza pagare (nonostante abbiano camera già pagata, dati della carta di credito, dati aziendali...). Roba da pazzi! Avrei voluto andarmene via dall'albergo in quel preciso istante. Un trattamento vergognoso.
