Mett Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella Estepona

Whilst I wanted to love this hotel- I didn't. The hotel classes itself as a 5* lifestyle property- the hotel is more of a club vibe looking for a party on its own as none of the guests seemed interested to join in. Pool: Visually stunning but not relaxing- the worst atmosphere I have tried to relax in. Music was extremely loud and repetitive techno/bass with a non stop boom sound from 10am-8pm which was incredibly frustrating and annoying. The boom can be heard from inside the rooms and constantly on the balcony/by pool. The only escape is the beach which is not ideal. We actually became so fed up with the loud music we left the pool area early most days. The DJ’s music was often off-beat, creating a disjointed experience. A better sound system might help or not having a loud club DJ every day would be even better. Prime sunbeds along the front of the pool on both sides were reserved for external guests, frustrating and neglecting in- house guests. This needs to be addressed, prioritizing overnight guests instead of external one day guests. 18 beds were reserved on Saturday and 13 on Sunday, leaving not much option for guests who had a later breakfast and arrived at the pool with nowhere to sit. As you can imagine, watching the countless arguments and complaints with the pool staff was not the best entertainment Room: Spacious, clean, and comfy. Turn Down Service: The service at 6:30 PM is inconvenient as many guests are out by the pool or getting ready. A later time of 8-10 PM would be better. Despite promises, this service was only provided once during our 10-night stay. Restaurants: Limited dining options, with the Italian restaurant being the only one open for dinner most of the stay- food was okay- not great, if you can find restaurants locally- definitely go out. The Greek restaurant opened only on our last day for dinner, however food was lovely. Vegetarian options are sparse, mostly pizza and pasta. More variety would be appreciated, especially in the Tapas restaurant. The breakfast buffet was lovely, but hot food from the menu was cold and undercooked. It was an okay stay at a beautiful hotel with several areas needing improvement. I’d recommend it for a party vacation, but not for a relaxing stay. The hotel seems uncertain if it wants to be a day club or a lifestyle hotel. However, the staff, especially Yana, Nawal, and Javier, were great and resolved issues professionally and quickly.

Spent two nights here in late June 2024 in and ocean front room. Hotel was recently opened and in great condition; sleek rooms with simple, yet classy aesthetic. The breakfast is top notch; the pool is lovely coupled with great beach access. Am now staying at a very fancy and much more expensive resort near Marbella, and feel METT was the far better option, especially for the price. Not exclusively adults only, but definitely felt more that vibe - highly recommend for those traveling without children.

We had such and amazing time here, the hotel is beautiful, clean and with sophisticated entertainment. The jazz player by the poolside was spectacular and one night we had a little live band playing whilst we ate dinner and they were sensational. The Italian restaurant is spot on as is the pool and beach bar. The Greek and Spanish restaurants were nice but don’t get the same kudos as the others. Will be back again 💯

Wonderful place, service and temperature in the pool. Always a seat free at the pool. Nice personnel always in the mood to help out. Nice and calm guest's, no children which is always nice to skip. Nice breakfast with ala carte. Will come back in the fall.

Mett hotel & beach resort is the best hotel in Marbella I have a great time 😍 and wonderful moments thanks for the team the are perfect and special for Yana. The swimming pool area was amazing and the breakfast was delicious 😋 We will visit again very soon .

Hotel and facilities were fantastic. Staff in gernal were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was a nice place to be. You will read in other reviews that they play constant "vibe" music at the pool. I had mixed feelings about this. It was nice sometimes, other times I just put in my noise cancelling Airpods. There was a Saxaphone player accompanying the music on Sunday which was actaually really enjoyable. There is a fantastric walk.cycling path all the wya to Estepona (9km). You are slightly closer to Puerto Banus. One downside is that is nothing within reasinable walking distance in the evening. Its drive or taxi/Uber.Cancelada is the nearest town, it's across the motorway. I didn't venture over there.

Fantastic hotel with an amazing athmosphere and extraordinary staff. Several restaurants and bars with good food, and plenty of comfortable sun beds around the pool and on the beach. Taxi to downtown Marbella takes around 20 minutes and doesn’t cost much, which means that you have the choice to both enjoy the calmer surroundings around Mett and to city life in Marbella. We will difinitely stay at Mett again next time we are in the Marbella area.

I would start by saying that the hotel reminds me a lot of the Dubai style and the way it behaves, but unfortunately this hotel does not have what it takes to be a 5 star hotel, still a lot of faults! I would start by saying that on the first day no one offered me a towel and it was a mess, the next days it was better during the week it worked more than the weekend because the sunbeds were rented from people from outside and I thought it greatly limited the guests in the hotel and the service was longer . if the hotel wants to make money from it they should not limit the guests as for the next point if the hotel is having an Event they should write it to the guests earlier and then all the hotel guests should get a discount because the Guests pay a lot of money to be at the pool right away so they can move to the sea, you don't feel like a guest enough, but as a guest from the street I think that for guests at least once to the pool, water should be included in the price, the beach service could also work a little better. As for the breakfast, more staff is needed to serve, it happened more than once that no one came and the wait is terribly long and it's not possible, for breakfast I would have a sweet coffee with some flavor that I missed there, who I want to thank is at breakfast the lady from ecuador who cuts the ham was very nice! when i cut my finger cutting bread she immediately arranged for help, the hotel needs to have more control over these things and then they also took a redbull bill from the mini bar which we didn't even have? after we wrote that we don't have it, naturally they returned the money.

The perfect place in every respect. The rooms, the facilities, the food and most important the efficient and friendly staff. We look forward to to returning soon with our friends and neighbors in Florida! We had visited the area numerous times before but the other hotels were no more than average. Yours is 5 star in every respect and I am a traveler who visits two times every year and 5 or more countries every year. Congratulations!
