The hotel grounds are quite nice with equally amazing sunsets. I originally booked and paid for a beach front villa, but due to A/C malfunction we got a garden view suite- we were reimbursed for the cost difference. The garden view suite was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately the hotel decided to do some maintenance work early Saturday and Sunday....7:30 am to be exact on both days. Impossible to sleep in as workers were scrapping and hammering the external walls of our suite prepping for paint. Then the maid decided to enter our room without knocking - not even once she knocked, and was quite embarrassing as both my wife and I were completely naked heading for the shower. This hotel, albeit great facilities, needs to improve on customer attention and greater focus on small details that could easily make this place amazing . We had dinner at the hotel on our first night, I feel that the quality vs price ratio can be much improved. We decided to have dinner and lunch outside the hotel during the rest of our stay. I also feel that simple non-monetary improvements can be made, -simple things- which would definitely improve overall customer satisfaction, and more importantly, return visits.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Stayed for a week and what a fantastic time we had. Location was perfect for a quiet relaxing break. The hotel is a few minutes walk from a fantastic beach. Great for hanging out on during the day, or hanging around watching the sunset in the early evening. At the weekend it can get quite busy with locals and their families making the most of it, but that adds to the atmosphere. Cars with local music playing, the aroma of the food cooking, all adds to the ambience. The hotel has really friendly staff that are more than happy to assist where required but give to the space you want when on holiday. Food in the restaurant has American influences, so not much in the way of Costa Rica cuisine Locally there’s a supermarket, then maybe a 10 minute walk you’ll find a few restaurants, outlet store, bar, bakery and a fried chicken take away - do not as isolated as other reviews state. The only downside to the hotel is the distance from the airport , it takes almost 2 hours for a transfer. If you’re willing to do the transfer time it’s well worth it. Thank you to all the team.

The hotel grounds are quite nice with equally amazing sunsets. I originally booked and paid for a beach front villa, but due to A/C malfunction we got a garden view suite- we were reimbursed for the cost difference. The garden view suite was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately the hotel decided to do some maintenance work early Saturday and Sunday....7:30 am to be exact on both days. Impossible to sleep in as workers were scrapping and hammering the external walls of our suite prepping for paint. Then the maid decided to enter our room without knocking - not even once she knocked, and was quite embarrassing as both my wife and I were completely naked heading for the shower. This hotel, albeit great facilities, needs to improve on customer attention and greater focus on small details that could easily make this place amazing . We had dinner at the hotel on our first night, I feel that the quality vs price ratio can be much improved. We decided to have dinner and lunch outside the hotel during the rest of our stay. I also feel that simple non-monetary improvements can be made, -simple things- which would definitely improve overall customer satisfaction, and more importantly, return visits.

The hotel grounds are quite nice with equally amazing sunsets. I originally booked and paid for a beach front villa, but due to A/C malfunction we got a garden view suite- we were reimbursed for the cost difference. The garden view suite was very nice and well equipped. Unfortunately the hotel decided to do some maintenance work early Saturday and Sunday....7:30 am to be exact on both days. Impossible to sleep in as workers were scrapping and hammering the external walls of our suite prepping for paint. Then the maid decided to enter our room without knocking - not even once she knocked, and was quite embarrassing as both my wife and I were completely naked heading for the shower. This hotel, albeit great facilities, needs to improve on customer attention and greater focus on small details that could easily make this place amazing . We had dinner at the hotel on our first night, I feel that the quality vs price ratio can be much improved. We decided to have dinner and lunch outside the hotel during the rest of our stay. I also feel that simple non-monetary improvements can be made, -simple things- which would definitely improve overall customer satisfaction, and more importantly, return visits.

Es la tercera vez q visito el lugar y la atención es excelente, el aseo del lugar es perfecto y todo su personal incluyendo al dueño es grandioso. Skarleth es excelente, servicial, con capacidad para entender las necesidades del cliente. Byron es un chico excepcional, los cócteles que hace son deliciosos y especiales. Cruz un chico con gran sentido de urgencia, respeto y servicial. Nisan atenta, respetuosa, excelente servicio. Dayana excelente, con su gestión hace posible las reservas y facilita lo que el cliente necesite. Vilma y Kattia excelentes misceláneas, tienen las instalaciones relucientes. El jardinero detallista, tiene esos jardines hermosos. Gracias Maralá. La comida deliciosa ¡¡¡ Un aplauso para todos sus colaboradores...hacen la diferencia y se nota en ellos la dedicación al negocio y compromiso.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Stayed for a week and what a fantastic time we had. Location was perfect for a quiet relaxing break. The hotel is a few minutes walk from a fantastic beach. Great for hanging out on during the day, or hanging around watching the sunset in the early evening. At the weekend it can get quite busy with locals and their families making the most of it, but that adds to the atmosphere. Cars with local music playing, the aroma of the food cooking, all adds to the ambience. The hotel has really friendly staff that are more than happy to assist where required but give to the space you want when on holiday. Food in the restaurant has American influences, so not much in the way of Costa Rica cuisine Locally there’s a supermarket, then maybe a 10 minute walk you’ll find a few restaurants, outlet store, bar, bakery and a fried chicken take away - do not as isolated as other reviews state. The only downside to the hotel is the distance from the airport , it takes almost 2 hours for a transfer. If you’re willing to do the transfer time it’s well worth it. Thank you to all the team.
