"Lovely hotel and a beautiful room. At no point were we told there was a charge for the spa. It was agreed on departure that we should have bene told and the fee would be waived. However, my card was charged. This is absolutely unacceptable. The hotel are now being unresponsive in my request to have the charge refunded."

"The reception looked like something out of the Psycho Bates Motel. To get to the room, you have to walk through the restaurant, which smelled of rancid butter. Then you have to pass through a room with stacked chairs that looked like a storage area. The room is very shabby, attic-style, with a tiny old bathroom. The bed blanket was worn out, the carpet was dirty and smelled bad, and worst of all: there were insects on the blanket. We left immediately despite having paid for the room. We didn’t come to such a remote place to have such a terrible experience."

"Great experience from first arriving at this hotel. We used it as an overnight stop on the way to the south of France from the UK. Travelling with our 11 month old child, the hotel could not have been more accommodating. The room was great, breakfast good value for money and the staff excellent. The man on reception upon our arrival was a credit to the hotel. He spoke great English, gave us all the information we needed and booked us into a local restaurant for our evening meal."

"We spent one night in this hotel and it was a terrible experience. The heating was not working at all, while the outside temperature was below zero. Cold air was blowing directly from the air-conditioning unit, making the room freezing and extremely noisy. The night was unbearable. When we reported the issue to the staff, we specifically asked whether this was normal. We were told that the heating system simply needed time to warm up. We left for dinner and came back more than an hour later, only to find the room still just as cold. Had we been informed from the beginning that the heating would not work properly, we would have changed hotels immediately. Unfortunately, by the time we returned after dinner, it was too late to find another hotel, especially with a young child. Considering the price we paid, these conditions are completely unacceptable. No solution was offered, and despite requesting a refund or at least a commercial gesture, nothing was done. This was our first time staying in a B&B Hotels property, and it will also be the last. I will never stay in a B&B Hotels again."
