I really don’t know where to begin. Spending a week in Evian was a special moment for my friends and I. That is until I entered this establishment. Clutter was unbelievable. If you want to feel trapped in a world of yard sale items sit in the front area waiting for your dinner table. Then it only gets worse. They placed us, with no exaggeration where I had to lean while eating dinner to keep bushes and plants out of my face and food. Gets better. While being served the waiter is coughing continuously behind me and at my table. And when attempting to say something to the owner “concerned for our health” it was basically we were rude and I truly felt Americans were not welcome, we were asked to leave by owner which was a blessing in disguise. It seemed to be mostly locals and that’s all the owner wishes to be there. Stay away and read reviews on everywhere you go while traveling in Evian.

Rooms are very small. Front desk staff is very friendly. I would review as a good positive service, but the owner of the hotel didn't deserve any stars. Seems like he doesn't like people who speak English. Extremely rude and ignorant. I wouldn't recommend this hotel

Owner is an angry old man who gets pleasure from insulting his guests. Please read other reviews if this seems shocking. Rooms have bad smells, shower doesn’t drain and don’t be surprised by towels with dirty nasty stains. While food was good, service would be considered unacceptable anywhere in the western hemisphere.

This is a very special and unique place full of charm, character and personality. Amazing views from the comfortable bedrooms, friendly & helpful staff and Chef Dimitri does a great job in the kitchen. Hoping to return again soon!

Do not stay at this hotel if you have any mobility issues. Even though we booked a room on the first floor, we were advised at check in time that there are stairs to get to the first floor. We asked to be allowed to cancel the reservation because my wife’s ankle was broken and she was in a cast, they flatly, refused and charged us one night stay as a cancellation fee. The reservation was made one day before within the 24 hour cancellation., So there was no way that we prevented the room from being rented to someone else. Total lack of compassion or service mentality. Do not stay here!

We spent a weekend here with my twin sister and her husband from the UK to celebrate our birthday. We had two bedrooms with stunning views over lake Geneva. Spotless with plenty of charm if a few too many things. Fabulous meals on the terrace overlooking the lake. Staff friendly and helpful. Lovely walks and a fine art exhibition in town. Highly recommended.

Hôtel magique pendant les fêtes de fin d'année. On arrive dans un univers de Noël fait de multiples sapins décorés, de poinsetias, de guirlandes et autres décorations rouges. Les chambres sont également très décorées et confortables. Le restaurant et son service au top. Merci pour ce beau moment hors du temps pour débuter l'année

Lieu magique et intemporel..le raffinement et l'harmonie règne et nous offre en plus un cadre magnifique au bord du lac Léman . Chambre a la fois cosy et alliant le confort moderne au niveau des sanitaires.. très bon accueil et petit déjeuner buffet somptueux..
