Hotel dengan WiFi di Evian-les-Bains

Having stayed recently at the Verniaz Hotel for a week during the Evian Championship for nearly a week, I am regrettable giving this hotel a rather poor 2star rating. The rationale for this is based on a number of experiences and observations as well as speaking to colleagues who stayed there at the same time, some of them in the chalets and others who stayed like me in the main building. Rooms: Overall dated decor and structurally in urgent need of investment. My room rate for the week was an astonishing EUR 280 per room per night and frankly for this one can and should deserve much better. F & B: breakfast in incredibly poor. During a week with high occupancy due to aforementioned event, one would expect things would in order. Breakfast offering was poor and possible worse than a 3 star Ibis. Many items were not replenished, cooked breakfast items not being replaced. When ordering eggs, one morning they said they had run out of eggs (really in a hotel?) and the next morning when making the same request the answer was ”not sure if we have the right pot/pan to boil your eggs”. Incredibly poor. The photos below show the poor state of affairs on Friday morning and after 20 mins waiting still none of the dishes being replenished. Bar was not opened at start of our stay, later in the week it was open, but one evening trying to get a nightcap after a dinner in town, we waited for 10 mins in the bar, but no staff to be found so we left. The grounds/garden are poorly maintained, like the main hotel facilities and in urgent need of investment. I hope the new owners (Evian Resort) will start his soon as at the prices they charge, its simply not acceptable.

First, the clean staff knocked on my door and think was no people in the room that Open my door. Second, I put the billboard on my door that said no clean service today, and then the clean staff also cleaned my room.

Good location, apartments very basic and dated but adequate, staff are lovely BUT the parking is a nightmare - battle for spaces every night, we had a large truck so parked on grass to leave spaces for others and the gardener came out and put ”crime scene” tape round our truck, this was despite several French cars having parked there everyday that week, we could see from our balcony and French cars parking in the disabled spaces every day and nothing done. We have family in Evian so stay regularly - wont stay at the Zenitude again because of this which is a shame.

Magnifique établis*****t dans un cadre exceptionnel. La vue sur le lac Leman est absolument splendide, imaginez le petit déjeuner au soleil sur la terrasse de sa suite. Tous le personnel est souriant et sympathique. Il s’agissait du 3e séjour et il donnait l’impression de se retrouver dans un cadre familial avec des équipes toujours d'aussi haut niveau, dîner délicieux, service excellent dans un cadre magnifique.,

Hôtel très bien placé , mais il faut souligner le fait que l’hôtel ne dispose pas de parking, il y a un parking couvert à proximité . (16 euros pour 24h) . La chambre pour 3 était très bien la literie est bonne. Il manquait pour moi une bouilloire . La sallle de bain très agréable et moderne . Une petite remarque sur la paroi de douche il faut faire attention a bien la placer sinon l’eau coule dans la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est très bien il y en a pour tous les goûts. L’accueil est très bien et le personnel très à l’écoute et souriant. Je recommande cet hôtel

😊 very clean and comfortable room overlooking the lake. Fan and kettle provided in the room (didn't use either) Food in the restaurant is fabulous and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly View from the room is lovely. 🙁 Hotel by a road that is busyish during the day. The hotel provides foam earplugs but you may want to take your own, mainly for when the traffic starts in the morning.

The customer service at the hotel, led by Sebastien Caquelard, was incredible. Having stayed there years ago I was excited to see that the sleeping rooms have been updated in great style. I loved the spa, both the fitness room as well as the deep tissue massage I had. I enjoyed walking down the hill to the town of Evian although the hotel has a no-charge limo to take guests back and forth; the taxi to go up the hill (I arrived by ferry from Lausanne) to the hotel was nominal, maybe 10 euros. I appreciate the Evian Resort experience with the Hotel Ermitage being associated with its sister-property, the five-star Hotel Royal. I will happily return to Hotel Ermitage.
