Ήταν η πολλοστή φορά που επισκεφτήκαμε το ξενοδοχείο, και φέτος μείναμε για τρεις διανυκτερεύσεις. Το προσωπικό στο μπουφέ του πρωϊνού και στο bar ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και πρόσχαρο να βοηθήσει. Το πρωϊνό εξαιρετικό. Η κυρία στη reception αρκετά απόμακρη. Το ξενοδοχείο, βρίσκεται σε πολύ καλή θέση, στην Καμαριώτισα, πλην όμως χρειάζεται συντήρηση - ανακαίνηση σε όλο το οίκημα. Υπάρχει πολύ φασαρία , τουλάχιστον, στα πίσω δωμάτια (πάντα είχαμε δωμάτια που ”έβλεπαν” πίσω) αφού ακριβώς μπροστά από αυτά υπάρχει δρόμος στον οποίο αυτοκίνητα και μηχανάκια περνούν όλο το 24ωρο.Το κερασάκι στην τούρτα: το air condition άρχισε να λειτουργεί ”μόνο του” του το βράδυ και αναγκαστήκαμε να κλείσουμε τον κεντρικό διακόπτη από τον γενικό πίνακα του ρεύματος. Τι να πω,γενικά απογοητευτήκαμε. Κρίμα.

Words are just not enough to express the gratitude we have for the whole team which helped make this event a resounding success. We are extremely grateful to Panagiotis and the reception team for making sure the experience was off to a great start with fast check-in and by taking care not only that the rooms were ready early on, but also checking in everybody as soon as the rooms were available. The accommodations were wonderful, clean, and with a gorgeous view.Also during our stay, they catered to all the whims and wishes of our guests without hesitation or delay in service. After such a great start the day continued with a welcoming pool party that was impeccably organized, starting with the table placement, which was done per our instructions, and continuing with exquisite food and irreproachable service. Our event ended with the Gala Dinner and we will be forever thankful to Kyriakos and the F&B team. The decor turned the conference room into a gorgeous ballroom and it was done with no time to spare. The service was impressive, fast, and hassle-free; the food was excellent and the corporate event was a success thanks to everyone who went above and beyond. We are looking forward to returning to Grecotel Astir Egnatia and it will be one of our top destinations for future corporate events.

We would like to thank all the hotel staffs exceptional service during our stay at the hotel. It was a birthday vacation of my husband, we felt appreciated for the little surprise of balloons in our room and a birthday cake for my husband. Stunning view from our room balcony, facing the Aegean sea. Breakfast was superb, nice pool side Greek style breakfast buffet! We had a wonderful vacation at Alexandroupolis, a lovely seaside town, hopefully we could return again in the future. What a beautiful beach resort!

Η θέση του ξενοδοχείου είναι καλή κοντα στο κέντρο και την παραλία, αλλα για ολόκληρο το ξενοδοχείο υπάρχουν μόνο 3 θέσεις στάθμευσης, που είναι πάντα κατηλειμμενες. Το χειρότερο όμως έχει να κάνει με τη σχέση τιμής και προσφοράς. Επισκέφτηκαμε για ένα βράδυ το ξενοδοχείο, το 3ημερο του 15Αυγουστου, που δεν έβρισκες ούτε κρεβάτι στην πόλη της Αλεξανδρούπολης.Πηγαμε με την σύζυγο μου και των 4 ετων γιο μου στις 09:20 το πρωί για το πρωινό και με λύπη μας διαπιστώσαμε ότι είχαν τελειώσει όλα τα πιτακια, όλες οι κρέπες και όλα τα pancakes!!! Είχαν μείνει μόνο τα πολύ πολύ βασικά του πρωινού. Σε ερώτηση μας, γιατί δεν έχει άλλα, μας είπαν ότι δεν είχε γίνει σωστη προετοιμασια και δεν υπολόγισαν σωστά τον κόσμο.... Επίσης, οταν ζήτησα να ζεστάνουν φρέσκο γάλα για το γιο μου, μου είπαν πως δεν υπήρχε δυνατότητα! Δηλαδή, μιλάμε για ένα γκαζακι και ένα μπρίκι για ξενοδοχείο πόλης;;;; Επίσης χωρίς να αντιλαμβάνομαι το γεγονος οτι δεν είχαν κάνει προετοιμασία για τον κόσμο που θα φιλοξενούν, αλλα ως ένδειξη καλής θέλησης θα μπορούσαν να αγοράσουν αντίστοιχα προϊόντα από φούρνο της περιοχής για να ικανοποιησουν τους υπόλοιπους πελάτες που πλήρωσαν για πρωινό και πρωινό ουσιαστικά δεν εφαγαν... Και μέσα σε όλα αυτά να απαιτουνται 80€ για το δωμάτιο... Ειναι κριμα, και θα πρέπει να γίνουν βήματα επαγγελματικής βελτιωσης του ξενοδοχείου ή θα πρέπει να χαμηλώσουν την τιμή που ζητάνε...

We chose to make a direct reservation with the hotel in pursuit of securing the most favorable deal available. The rate we obtained was competitive, aligning well with those offered by other prestigious five-star establishments within the city. However, our initial impression upon entering the hotel was that it appeared rather ordinary. Regrettably, we were assigned a room located quite a distance from the lobby, which proved to be somewhat inconvenient given our need to navigate multiple flights of stairs, particularly with our baby stroller in tow. This logistical challenge became increasingly tiresome during our stay, as we found ourselves repeatedly carrying the stroller up and down the stairs whenever we wished to venture outside. This arrangement was far from comfortable and somewhat detracted from our overall experience. Another notable issue was the presence of dirty dishes left in front of the adjacent room upon our arrival, which remained unattended until our departure. This oversight did not contribute positively to our perception of the hotel's cleanliness and attention to detail. Furthermore, our disappointment extended to the condition of the tap water in our room, which exhibited a disconcerting greyish color and had an issue with leakage. This predicament made our efforts to wash up and enjoy a shower less than satisfactory. In summary, while we secured a competitive rate for our stay, our experience was marred by the inconvenience of our room's location, cleanliness concerns, and the subpar tap water quality.
