The location is the best spot you can find in center of Exeter. The hotel is old but inside is still very beautiful. However, some of the staffs are not very friendly and there is no flipflop when though we have asked at front desk.

Booked a Standard Double Room without breakfast. It’s possible that the room was fully booked but the property upgraded us to a Triple Room which was not an issue. However, the tv remote does require a full deep clean, as there appears to be build up of dirt.

Very close to high street. Full cooked breakfast buffet has a lot of food choices. The breakfast room is a bit small and crowded, expected to wait and be seated after 8:30am (as there is a warm reminder at the lift lobby / reception desk) Free on-street parking outside hotel after 6pm until 9am (weekdays) / 11am (sundays and bank holidays), so it is not necessary to give car parking fee inside the hotel premises.

One night Birthday stay. Lovely hotel and great room. I’ve read previous reviews but we found the staff were very competent and polite, nothing was too much trouble. We found our room quiet with no disturbing noises at all. Beautiful restaurant and bar area and breakfast was lovely. In the room there was a lovely Birthday plate of chocolates so Thankyou to whoever went above and beyond on that one. Thankyou to all the staff, we will be back 😀

Great location. Rooms a little dated, with minimal housekeeping. Great stay nonetheless and staff were lovely.

This hotel fitted my needs perfectly. I was solo in Exeter for one night so chose a single en suite room. Whilst bijou describes the bedroom and bathroom perfectly, it had cubby holes galore for my stuff, a nice selection of teas as well as a great, free coffee machine downstairs. The bed was very comfortable and the area felt very safe. I would have made use of the courtyard if the weather had been better. There was staff on reception 24/7 so check in and out was very easy.

Quick check in, spotless room, polite staff and great value with breakfast included. Regular customer of hotel and always good experience. Since last stay breakfast more organised. Can't fault it for money.

One overnight stay on the way to Cornwall. The hotel is quirky. Loved the little touches like fresh coffee in the room and dvds to borrow and watch. Parking available which is rare in Exeter. Room was cute and the bed super comfy. I can't believe people are complaining on here about a shared bathroom. Do you people read the room descriptions? Loved the row of cinema seats on the 1st floor. Will be back. Thank-you.
