The room and amenities were great. We were in the area to take my son to the hospital, and the hotel was minutes away, and a restful getaway from the stress of the day. There is a plaza with an Aldi within walking distance but nothing feels intrusivley close-- the hotel is nestled on a road off the main drag, so it's removed from the traffic but still very close to what you might need. Staff was polite and it was a good continental breakfast, as far as continental breakfasts at a chain go: they have a waffle machine, which I prefer, there was an oatmilk option for the coffee bar, and in addition to real eggs, they had a veggie eggwhite fritata that was very good. Hopefully we won't have to visit the hospital again, but if we do this is definitely where we'll stay. Having gated underground parking was a good option, and when we left we carted our things to the elevator, down to parking and directly into the car.

Absolute best place to stay for folks flying out of Dulles Airport. Free shuttle to the airport, safe parking for your car, excellent restaurant and very friendly staff If your trip is at least two weeks long it’s actually cheaper to stay at hotel and park your car here then to just park it at the airport. Plus no gásteles of driving to airport the day of your flight.

A few years ago we stayed here frequently. We were then Platinum members and enjoyed a delicious gourmet breakfast in a restaurant with excellent service and ambiance. That restaurant has been torn down and the substitute is a huge bar and tables in the main lobby. Not at all as nice except that the breakfast still offered many choices and the food quality and service were still good. When we checked in we found three pillows on our king size bed. When we asked for another they brought it right up but only after telling us that the new ”industry standard” was three! Huh? I asked which one of us was supposed to use two and which uses one but got no response. The cold water in the sink and the tub ran burning hot. The maintenance department was never able to fix it during the five days of our stay. However, we discovered that if you leave it running for 10-15 minutes it eventually turns cold. So whenever we awoke or returned to the room we immediately ran the faucet. Eventually, management applied 5,000 points to our account. Once, the TV lost internet connection but maintenance did arrive quickly and repaired it. The ambience at this hotel which was our mainstay for years, is very different. Front desk staff are still friendly. As lifetime Marriott Gold members now we still choose Marriotts for at least half our hotel stays, but this one is off our list.

I have stayed here before, and it has come down hill. I'm trying to think of where I started. Ah - I asked the clerk on duty about breakfast - he said scrambled eggs were part of breakfast. Nope . Breakfast sandwich, with no real information on the package itself. The breakfast was far below what I have seen over the past six months, Minor things like enough coffee for two sharing a king size bed. Nope. Two packs of regular , one of decaf. The tub/shower had a used bar of motel soap in the soap dish. I had problems getting on the internet. While I finally did, the clerk on duty said, ”Sorry. Can't help you.” Despite what Choice Hotels wants staff to do, they no longer provide a morning paper to Choice Privilege members - and I'm a diamond member. The same is true of their Dulles shuttle. - the shuttle sign is up but the bus is hidden behind the motel . They still have the sign and then bus, but they are not using it. It is obvious that some sort of improvement is going on, but I saw no action on it. I really think that Choice Hotels needs to investigate this motel. I am disappointed based on my last stay here.

Very good hotel situation. The location is great to get to the WA mall quickly. The lower/ground floor was very clean and service was excellent (Way-to-go MIMI!!) However, when you go into the upper floors the rest of the hotel smells very musty. The rooms are adequately cleaned but still smell musty/damp. Overall a good experience and would stay again.
