Stayed in Podumna Village with our 2 girls and I cannot recommend it enough. The place is gorgeous and very magical to young children. The site and pods were clean and well maintained and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Dick and Liz are a fantastic couple and you can feel their positivity and enthusiasm for their unique glamping site. It was our first time experiencing communal bathrooms and kitchen/dining areas and we thought it was brilliant. Overall we had a great experience. Would recommend 2 nights to explore all Portumna has to offer and to soak in the laid back atmosphere of Podumna. We will be back!

Amazing place, myself & my family have stayed here on many occasions over the past 7 years. The pods are amazing, very comfortable and has everything you need . Great outdoor seating areas and large kitchen for self catering , spotless bathrooms and showering facilities, bicycle hire, firepits for night time with the kids to roast marshmallows or relax with a drink all the while close to everything in beautiful Portumna. The owners Dick & Liz are the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met , nothing is too much trouble for them to make your stay as enjoyable as possible . We will be returning for many years to come .

I recently had my hen party in Podumna Village. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by Dick & Liz, our hosts for the weekend. They were friendly and inviting and they really went above and beyond along with their great staff to cater for us. The pods were spotless clean along with showers and bathrooms. There is not one thing I could fault about Podumna Village, it was a truly magical weekend from start to finish and would highly recommend it for family weekends away or large parties. There is a fabulous vibe about the place and this is all down to the hosts & staff.

Booked PodUmna Village for a very large group of mature ladies, on the recommendation of a friend, & I can only describe every aspect as superb. Our lovely hosts and their staff went above & beyond to cater for any whim, accomodation was spotless & cosy even through poor weather. A truly unique experience, central to local shops, pubs and amenities. I am looking forward to a return family trip.

*What a great place and even nicer people* I was there for two nights on my friends Hen this weekend. It was there first weekend open for 2024! Dick , Liz and all the staff at Podumna went above and beyond for us , they made us feel so welcome from the minute we landed ,the attention to detail and nothing was too much to ask for- the simple touches , like a hot water bottle before going back to your cabin or the arranged lift to the local pub, it was all wonderful. I would highly recommend Podumna for anyone thinking of going glamping for a Hen. Everything from start to finish was fantastic. Thank you Dick, Liz and all the staff.. Niamh :)

From the minute we arrived Podumna village exceeded all of our expectations. Dick, Liz and staff are warm, friendly and extremely accommodating. The pods are fabulous, clean and comfortable. We had a large group including children visiting for a family birthday and every member from youngest to oldest thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We had access to barbeque and kitchen facilities, there was lots of space for activities and it is right in the centre of Portumna and all of the amenities the town has to offer. If you are looking for something different for a family gathering this is the place to go! I can't recommend it highly enough - we will definitely be back.

This is without question, the best family holiday we have ever had. The site is safe, secure, charming, relaxed, with all the conveniences you’d need with a fantastic location. Dick and Liz are everything you’d want in hosts. Friendly, informative, and just good people, around when you need them without being in your face. They are just decent people. My 9 year old Caoimhe thinks Dick is her new bestie. Location is amazing with lots of tourist spots within walking distance and there is a SuperValu just minutes away. There is a huge kitchen and fab indoor and outdoor eating areas. The beds in the pods are very comfy and there are plenty of spotless toilets and showers. You can rent a bike too, even bring your pet in one of their cool trailers. We will definitely be back. I cannot recommend it enough.

I just want to say a massive thank you to Dick and Liz. They were absolutely amazing. We needed nothing while on our two night stay. Nothing was a problem. The whole weekend was planned and executed to perfection with their help. I would highly highly recommend a stay at Podumna village. The hen, Siobhan, was treated like royalty and she had a ball. Food, rooms, pods, cabins, everything was beautiful. Thanks again. Caroline xx

We just got home from our weekend hen party at An Poduma. It was the most magical weekend full of fun, laughter, good food, music and so much more. Liz & Dick were the most welcoming people and couldnt of done any more for us. They honestly made our weekend so incredible and we will never forget it. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We will be back for sure 😃
