We spent 10 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect for our needs! An utterly beautiful hotel with clean rooms and facilities and the kindest, most helpful staff I've ever come across in a hotel. Our room was spacious and beautiful, with direct access to the 2.4km pool - this was a great feature and it felt like we had a bit of private pool whilst being able to swim all the way to the main pool. The pool also adds to the feeling that you're in a village community rather than a commercial hotel, as we made friends with our ”neighbours” and would see them from time to time when we were out swimming. The hotel's beach is clean and stunning, the sun beds are thickly padded and comfortable, and we made use of the bodyboarding and kayaking equipment on our stay. The restaurants at the hotel were incredible! The main ones are Ta-Krai (Thai), Sakura (Japanese), and Olive (Italian). Before arriving I was a bit sceptical at how authentic the restaurants would be but the hotel has ensured they've brought in the best chefs who could bring authentic cuisine to Khao Lak. The sushi at Sakura was probably the freshest and tastiest I've ever had (albeit, I've not been to Japan yet, but it's still better than all the London sushi places where we live and even better than Nobu). We loved Olive restaurant too, in particular their Sunset BBQ evening where you're spoilt for choice on meats, seafood, sides, salads, and a full-on Italian cheese and ham bar with really delicious, authentic selections. Chef Enzo there was dishing out cheeses to us and making recommendations what to pair each cheese with and was so helpful (and the cheeses were incredible). We opted for the Breakfast and Dinner package and we're really glad we did as we loved going back to those restaurants over the 10 days. For lunch we'd eat at the hotel cafes, or out at excursions, or at local restaurants adjacent to the hotel, such as Phen's (delicious!). We also bought a spa package at Quan Spa in the hotel and booked in lots of treatments throughout our stay. The spa is beautiful and the massage therapists were excellent; it's a bit pricier than outside the hotel but the spa environment is worth it for that luxe feeling (and still cheaper than in the UK!). Overall, I don't think we found and faults with our stay at JWM and we will definitely come back in the future, perhaps for our anniversaries! And we would highly recommend it to all our family and friends!

Nous avons séjourné pour la 2ème fois dans ce resort qui est un véritable paradis pour les enfants. Nous avions nos 2 pts enfants (8 et 10 ans) avec nous et à leur arrivée dans la chambre ils ont trouvé celle-ci très ”classe” (il y avait un toboggan pour descendre du lit superposé en haut). C'est un resort tout à fait adapté pour les familles avec des enfants, beaucoup de jeux aquatiques, des piscines leur sont réservées. Nous avions une gde chambre pour nous 4 avec une cloison coulissante pour avoir un peu d'intimité. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très varié et chacun trouve de quoi se régaler aussi bien en nourriture asiatique qu'internationale. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable. L'hôtel est très bien situé, à 10 mn à pied de la rue très commerçante avec beaucoup de restaurants. Nous avions réservé une navette privée pour les transferts depuis et vers l'aéroport de Phuket, tout s'est très bien passé. A la fin de la semaine, nos petits enfants nous ont demandé pourquoi nous ne restions pas une 2ème semaine, c'est dire s'ils ont aimé. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir une 3ème fois .

Despite being a long way out of Khao Lak, (one of the last hotels, 15 mins out) it’s worth going the extra distance. Staff so friendly and helpful; everyone in the hotel. Our poolside room was wonderful-space to relax and slip into the water and also spa jets whenever we liked. The big pool with bar near the beach was also a pleasure to be at. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious and they catered for my food allergies very well. They gave options for level of spiciness for the Thai food. I had an injury and the late checkout til 6pm they provided for me was a final bonus. Highly recommend

Stay in this beautiful resort only if you’re ready to be spoilt by the amazing hospitality of their staff. It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but that doesn’t matter as the resort itself has everything you’ll need. We took the all in package. Rooms are luxurious, very clean, very well kept. The resort itself is very well kept, pool, beach, bar, playroom. Very family friendly. Stayed here twice, both during peak (March) and low peak(June), both occasions felt very different, i personally preferred the peak, however one thing that did not change was the hospitality of their amazing staff! A special shout out to Kwan for professionally handling the tantrum of a hungry 35yr old (me). Great selection of food in their restaurants too. And when you need a laugh, Sit@Aon will crack you up. Will always come back.

Overall a fantastic holiday experience. Rooms are nicely done up, clean and relaxing . Staff are warm, welcoming, super helpful and friendly . Especially Nu who took great care of us . Great breakfast selection and super yummy. Great setup at kids room which also catered to older kids with Pingpong table , ball machine, arcade games and other selection. Staff at beach station were super helpful, all ready to help , SUP , boogie boards and kayaks available for use without charge. You really don’t have to go anywhere , just relax at the beautiful Sandy beach. Kids also played volleyball almost every evening with other guests . Impressive fire show one night We will definitely come back here .

We stayed in the Deluxe Pool Villa for 5 nights. The resort is in 2 sections. The front section has beach frontage with a pool & restaurant, the back section with the Villa's is set individually amongst garden with a large pool with water slide & playground for children, then another pool for adults only. Buffet breakfast selection has a variety of options to select from. The villa was very spacious with your own private pool with 2 spa jets. Whilst the main pools close at 6pm, you can continue to use your own private pool. With warm nights it was lovely being able to cool off later in the evening. Our room was provided with 2 beach towels. We had a small private courtyard with an outdoor shower. Our villa had a split system air-con for easy control of temperature. The bathroom was also spacious with a large bath, separate shower & toilet, and vanity area. Villa was serviced each day. The bed whilst firm, wasn't too uncomfortable. In all our Thailand & Asia travels, beds do typically tend to be in the firm side. The resort is located just a short walk from the main street, so it was very tranquil. Buffet breakfast had something for everyone There are plenty of choices on main street for food options. Bring the low season (July), they were renovating areas of the resort, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. We would happily stay here again.

Отдыхаем в отеле второй год. После заезда решили изменить свои планы и остались в отеле ещё на неделю в начале декабря, тем более трип предлагал адекватную цену в 7500 руб за номер. Просторные и комфортные номера, зелёная ухоженная территория, обильный завтрак до 11 часов. Прекрасный пляж с большим количеством лежаков. Если уйти чуть левее по берегу, то попадёте на бездюдный пустынный пляж. Прекрасные рассветы и закаты.

We upgraded from 2 suites from a package TUI booking pool villa 838 costing about 42K THB for 14 nights in November and December 2022. 2 adults, and 2 kids age 17 and 10 so the privacy of a private pool was one of our highlights of the holiday. This is such a peaceful resort with beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. Notably Emme, Gift, Mark, Tee, Big, Yuda, Tar, Pecky and Winai. This resort is not within walking distance of town / Biang Nang market area, and a taxi to go there will set you back 300 THB each way from the guys on the beach outside the gate. That's the going rate both ways so don't be conned by a chancer. In the resort there's 2 restaurants, one's a buffet and the Napalai on the villa side of the river and you can eat from both if you upgrade. There are 2 swimming pools, several bars and organised trips to temples, islands, local markets, animal sanctuaries offered from the front desk or holiday rep so you aren't cut off from civilisation by being in such a remote area surrounded by beach and jungle, which is actually a plus point if you're a surfer, nature or beach lover because this resort scores a 10 if that's what interests you. We didn't travel to Thailand for the nightlife, just to chill in some winter sun. There's ample entertainment just 10 minutes away from the resort, in town or Memories bar, but if you want boom, boom, boom and all night drinking go to Phuket instead. I'd definitely return, but not with children.

兩間房入住沒有預留相鄰房間，換了房間也不是相鄰的。 退房給個單子扣除8000按金後還要補19000，也不知道什麼內容，告訴她賬單不對，過了十分鐘又打個賬單少了一萬多！全程沒説sorry還覺得她打錯單子也很無奈的表情！告訴她這個新賬單也不對，她又打個單子説每個房間兩個浴袍，我們少了一個，告訴她可以看監控可以檢查我行李有沒有你的浴袍，入住很晚臨時分配房間他們沒檢查房間內只有一個浴袍。過了十分鐘又打個單子説spa和我們説的價格不一樣，我們又去確認簽單。 又過了二十分鐘她終於打對了賬單，按金8000扣500下午茶3700晚餐spa1700加税的正確賬單。總共衹消費三項真不知道至於複雜到讓她打了幾次賬單嗎？ 總之退房瞎搞賬單和她們説不對！她那個表情好像是我瞎搞，耽誤了我去免税店的時間！ 一共三項消費上哪裡花20000多？而且都有簽單確認，她不道歉還覺得我在瞎扯！ 退房這個補19000着實吃驚 過程很煩，垃圾的退房前台瘦的女孩！
