I recently stayed at this 3-star hotel seems like 1star and was quite disappointed. The beds were uncomfortable, and mattresses were cheap worn-out making it hard to get a good night's sleep and gave backaches every morning,so pathetic, To make matters worse, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, and hallway which was very off-putting at some point we all felt choking . I expected a better experience for the price. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel group IBIS! And i feel Australian health regulations should take this location seriously!

Many thanks for your assistance. The room clean and sufficient for my needs for a quick overnight stay. Yes, the only drawback is the access to and from the facility, but this can be overcome with a little patience. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Once again, many thanks .

If you want to stay somewhere where you don’t want to hear any noise with solid concrete noise or just a short stay, this to me was the perfect place. Highly recommend will come again.

It’s great for when you have a weird flight schedule and need to rest up for a couple of hours. Just 10 minutes drive from Melbourne Airport. Easy to get around. No microwave so better to eat out. Plenty of food options available within minutes.

What really upset me off , I asked for an extra below , and 4he responses i git as if I am asking for a royal suite, and I got nothing

Good for a short 1 day stay. Otherwise, not really ideal for long stay. Free breakfast please do not expect much (cereal, pancakes and bread). Room and bed was clean.

Tiny room, very cheap and suited our purpose as close to where we needed to be early the next morning. we didn’t like the neighbourhood as very loud overnight. The staff member at reception didn’t smile or speak to us.

My stay at Budget Ibis Fawkner was fantastic! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. Highly recommended for a budget-friendly option!

Hotel near the airport, only 15 mins away with cars. But far from train station, if by foot ,at least hv to walk 15 mins++, before you reach KFC, just turn right side when you see hrispy hrrme dougnuts restaurant, the train station is behind there . Hotel staffs are good , breakfast don't expect too much,it's normal Bread and jam with hot dranks ,

Clean place However location is on the main roads not very accessible to pedestrians

The room itself is to be expected from a budget location. My main issue was the floor covered in hair, when I informed reception they gave me a brush and shovel so I could clean it myself. Terrible!
